My Child is turning four years of age and I am afraid that she may be depressed but I am not sure what the sinse are can you give me some advise please

Generally when kids are depressed they don't talk and usually stay to themselves. Just out of curiosity, what are her symptoms?

when i was a little girl my aunt went out with this really tall and ugly guy. he was nice but he liked to play with my private area and he stuck his in side mine a few times. i dont considder it rape or sexual abuse but i dont no what 2 say when people ask me if i am a virgin cuz besides that little thing i havent had any sex. what should i tell people. i dont mind it if people no that i am not a virgin but i really mind it if i have to tell them how i lost mi virginity and when. so am i still considerred a virgin or not and wat should i say wen people ask me that question?

Please tell me tha you've told the authourities about this honey! I've had a similar situation happen to me, and it can be a very dangerous thing. YOu could have STD's and ugh.... I don't know what to say except I'm sorry... It is your own business whether or not your a virgin, if someone asks you that, you need to tell thaem that that's none of their business, and they need to go harass someone else... I'm sorry I'm getting carried away.

Ok well here's my problem, my mom is like super christian and I think I wanna follow by the rules of buddah and I want to be boodist! but I still belive in god! I dunno what one to choose. And plus if I do decide to become budist I dont wanna tell my mom! I dont know what to Do! arg! help!

Sometimes when a girl likes a guy a lot, she becomes dumb around him and can't think of anything to say. Well, I'm like that. I'm too nervous to say anything, I never talk to him unless he talks to me... I think he has a crush on me, cause I really never noticed him until he started talking to me . And I developed a crush on him .
The problem is that everyone's telling me
"dont walk up to him, people will start talking"
That's one of the reasons I'm too nervous to talk to him!
When is the perfect time to talk to a guy you like? should I start saying hi to him instead of waiting for him to say hi to me? never really say hi to him, he always does and I reply.

Why should you care if someone else says or thinks something about you. If you like someone, you shouldn't be ashamed of it even if you are shy. I know how it feels to be that way, I just recently changed, and I am a very outgoing person now. Just become friends with him at first. Invite him to go with you somewhere or something. (If your parents don't want you dating, then tell them that you're just going out with your friends... DONT LIE TO THEM!!! Really go with your friends, they'll help to break the ice with him.) Maybe you could get to know him by writing e-mails or something.

Ok me and my boyfriend have been together for a while now and he wants to have sex and I do too but there is just one problem I have a disease and I don’t know if I should tell him or not because I don’t want him too to think of me different but we are going to use protection and everything just I don’t want to tell him! And I am sooooo scared! I don’t know about what maybe about him knowing my deepest darkest secret, I don’t know! Please help me!

It's never cool to keep a secret like that. You could give him the disease too, and then he would really hate you. You need to be responsible. Even if you do use protection, you could give him the disease, and I don't know many people who like catching diseases.

I really like this guy, he usually stares at me during the classes we have together but my friend asked him if he liked me and he said no because i have small eyes! what do i do to this kid so he likes me?!! please help!! wb asap!

IF the guy doesn't like you for your "small eyes" then he doesnt deserve you. Someone who looks at you and judges you for your personallity is just a stereotypical tyrant. You need to be confident about who you are. The thing I'm worried about is that the guy might just be using that as an excuse. USe the brown, tan, and beige colors if you really need to excentuate your eyes.

I am not sure what i have but some times when im scared, doing nothing, or exercising my heart beats fast and i can feel the pressure of it and i when that happens i look down at my shirt and you can see my chest vibrating from my heart. Im afraid that this could be serious, either if it is or not i would like to know what it could be and how i can treat it or do things to help it.

I'm not quite sure, but I think you might have a heart murmer. This could be really serious, and in some cases fatal. You need, absolutely need, to talk to a doctor. I don't know you, but I still don't want ou to get hurt.

UGH !! i hate my eyes ! i have single eyelids and my eyes are pretty small . i already use eyeliner on my top lid as well as some mascara to "open" up my eyes a bit .. do you know any other ways to make my eyes seem larger ?
oh and does waxing ur legs hurt ? i'm planning on buying the use-at-home waxing kits instead of shaving

Another good eye opener is to put a light beige or cream in the center of your eye, and a little on the arch of your eyebrow, so that it's almost touching your brow. Take a medium brown based color and highlight the crease of your brow. Finally take a darker brown and line the very outside of the outside corner of your eye tilting it out at the very end. This will give your eyes a larger slant.

But hey! Be pleased with what you've got girl! I'm sure your eyes flatter your fabulous body. As for leg waxing, can't help you there, never done it.

Tomorrow, i have a Persuasive essay to turn in, which I will later have to read to my English class.


My topic is on book-banning, and i've typed up my essay, and it's all set.


My problem is, is that my last reason for why book-banning from schools and libraries isn't right, is because books are sometimes banned because of homosexual characters.


At first, i felt strongly about stating my opinion through an essay on my opinion on homosexuallity (I'm for gay marriage), but now, I'm having second doubts. Can someone please tell me how they think this will go over in my class, and is it appropriate? (This is Advanced 8th grade Eglish by the way)

You should never be afraid to express your feelings. I agree, gay people deserve to love just as much as straight people do. It's just another form of segragation to say that they don't deserve what we do. It's no different than saying that colored people don'd deserve what white folk do. Did you know that homosexual people used to hold athuorative powers in Native American tribes? I think it's rude and inconsiderate to judge them now. As for book banning. How stupid is that. What ever happened to freedom of expression, this country is taking a turn for the worse.

my mom has the perfect boyfriend, i love him to death! for every other day the past month my mom has been going out with friends from like 7 pm to in btween 3 and 4 am ! a few of my friends moms even think she is an irresponsible parent! her bf is even begging to think that. eveybody is worried. she wont listen to me or her bf when we try to help! we all want them to get married, but even her bf sed he hopes she doesnt ruin it in the end! (its a long distance relationship, we live in la, he lives in san fransico)

Have you talked to your mother about it yet. Even during the teen years where we think we are self efficient, we still need our parents now and then... Our parents can help us through the hard years, and if your mother isn't there to help you, who will be. This is going to sound nosy, but do you know what she is doing. If she were doing something for your better welfare, then I would be pleased, but it sounds to me like she's doing things that she really shouldn't be, and I can relate, my mother does drugs, and she used to keep me in the room with her, so I used to get stoned and stuff. She WAS AN IRRESPONSIBLE mother. Wow, that boyfriend seems like a really good guy. Tell your mother that she needs to treat him with more respect, or this could all end, and I know that none of you want that. right?

My friend ((We'll call her M)) is a total sl**. She knows it and is proud of it. She stabs people in the back and screws you over. She turns on you and talks crap on you behind your back. My 2 best friends and i ditched her because we knew she wasn't a good friend to have. Now she is friends with lots of girls... at least she thinks she is. They all hate her, but they won't tell her! I wouldn't mind becoming friends with her again, but how can i learn to trust her and believe what she tells me if she did all this stuff to me the first time around?

I hate girls like that. I only had one friend for five years, and that little skank (pardon my harshness) did the exact same thing. Guys began to be more important to her, and she told all of them that I taught her how to masterbate! :O sick huh? well, I was miserable, I had no friends for like 4 mths, and then, on the last day of summer vacation she came to make sure that I was still her friend. It hurt alot, but I told her no. And I went about another month with no friends, because she was saying that I was talking behind everyone's back. Females are backstabbing little witches, sometimes I wonder if I should only have guy friends... Any way, enough about me, I think that you should DEFINATELY not be friends with her, because she'll just use you as her leaning pole time and time again!

My friends and I are doing a project in science, and they won't listen to anything I have to say! Whenever I have a good idea, they won't listen to it, and if they do, someone always says that for some reason, it won't work. I'm not a control freak or anything, i just wish that they would listen to me! 13/f, if that helps at all.

Tell your friends that this is a GROUP project, and they need to pull their heads out of their butts if they want to get it done right. A GROUP project requires ALL MEMBERS OF THE GROUP to do some work, and if they can't do that, then they don't deserve a good grade. I hate to nark (tattle tale) but if it keeps up tell an authority figure. (not like the cops) but like a parent or teacher or someone like that! I know exactly how you feel, and you're probably a genious, your friends just don't realize it yet... with luv,

You are one lucky guy. If I had guys staring at me all the time, I wouldn't even come to Advicenators! Just kidding! But really, you should tell them that you're leaving soon. If you start a relationship now, you may hurt the girls feelings more than by just saying that you don't want to go out with them. I should know, I asked this guy out once, and he pretended he liked me and was considering on going out with me until one day he decided he couldn't because "his birthday was coming up" how lame is that!? Anyway, you could be friends with them, but I wouldn't go much further than that.

ok here it goes its kinda long but i really need your help.
i have this friend she is like my best friend thats what she calls us... doesnt mean she is...
well her boyfriend broke up with her a while ago. she still hasnt gotten over him. she still loves him. i've talked to him on the phone and i asked him if he still likes her and he said no. and i was like well who do you like? and he kept saying no one until he said "me" i was like stop playing and he says im not playing i like you. and i kept saying no your joking and he goes no i like you, you dont belive me? and at school he always tells me he loves me, and he gives me hugs, and once he called me his girlfriend. i went to the movies last nite and he was there... he asked me to sit next to him, and i said ya ok. and at the movies he put his arm around me and he kept telling me he loves me and he gave me a kiss on the cheek. i like him to a lot. but i dunno what is he trying to do, does he like me? i think he does, but im not sure. he askes me if i love him and i say yes sometimes mostly i dont answer and wen i say yes he asks me why? and what should i do about it? he flirts with other girls to. so please help me, and tell me what does this mean?

Well, this might not be very helpful, but do you like him back. I had this exact same problem, except I was the one who liked the X... I told my friend, and she was a little steamed at first, but then she realized that her relationship was over and that she couldn't keep him forever. As far as I was concerned she was (and still is) one of my best friends. Since we were (are) so close, she understood. but the guy didn't like me anyway, and you know what, they almost got back together again after I asked him out! Maybe if you get your friend and him to be friends again, they can get back together. A happy ending for all of you. right?

Oh yeah! If you don't like him, tell him! It'll get him off your back, and onto someone else's... sorry, that sounded really crule...
