Now what kind of soccer is this? se;ect? or is that just a typo? anyway, I play soccer. It's a fun sport. I love it! If I'm ever nervous, I just take deep breaths and say it's just a game, nothing is going to happen. That's all I do and I'm calm. Then I kick butt!
:)
Hope it helped,

Try to breathe and think about things that make you happy. I have played club sports before and I know they are serious and coaches put a lot of pressure on you but try to remember, your life doesnt rely on that one game. It will be okay and just try to have fun!

yea like 3 mins before i play i have to pee really bad cause i was nevous. I just at my fav. fruit and drank some water but not to much lol and didnt think of the game. Just make it seem that you are just playing for fun not for placement.

I know exactly how you feel. Before my first soccer game, I was so extremely nervous I felt like puking. My team captain pulled me aside, and gave me some little tips to help me feel better. She told me to drink alot of water and to take really slow, deep breaths. She told me stretching would help alot, too. It really DID help me, and even though I was still nervous, my stomach didn't hurt anymore. Maybe you should try this and see if it helps you any.

You nave nothing to worry about! if you weren't good at soccer then you wouldnt be on select!
just take deep breaths, and think about other things that will take your mind off of being nervous. listen to music, get on the computer, or call a friend. just think about the good stuff that can happen, not the bad. Good luck!

Dont think about it as much, just be calm and have a nice lunch or breakfast and just breath. This should let your stomach feel better.

This may sound stupid, but I'd say take theater! theater always calms me down, and it cheers me up. it helps alot of people enjoy the things that they love to do more, and I'd say that's a pretty good thing! right?
