Sometimes when a girl likes a guy a lot, she becomes dumb around him and can't think of anything to say. Well, I'm like that. I'm too nervous to say anything, I never talk to him unless he talks to me... I think he has a crush on me, cause I really never noticed him until he started talking to me . And I developed a crush on him .
The problem is that everyone's telling me
"dont walk up to him, people will start talking"
That's one of the reasons I'm too nervous to talk to him!
When is the perfect time to talk to a guy you like? should I start saying hi to him instead of waiting for him to say hi to me? never really say hi to him, he always does and I reply.

Well as a girl I can tell you that you are right that girls are dumb around boys. At this time I am going through guy troubles as well. My best advice to you is that if you really like this guy, do not worry about what people will think. If this guy does indeed like you to he like you may be afraid to approach you as well. Anytime is a good time to talk to someone that you like, do not wait untill it is to late!

Okay, this is sort of complicated. I know what its like to get really shy around a guy. It's really hard, but you have to talk to him. I think you should start a conversation with him in person, despite the things people say. If you can't do it in person, then maybe you should talk to him online, on the phone, or even write him a note. You really have to face your fears, you can handle it. Okey, first of all lets get rid of some of your nervousness. when people say "Dont walk up to him, people will start talking" then dont listen to them!! I mean, cmmon you walk up to a person and say "Hi" Oooooh what a big deal! Dont listen to those people, they're juss trying to scare you. The next time you see him just go up to him and say hi. It's really easy!! I promise you theres no pressure. I mean, all he's gonna do is say "Hi" back and maybe talk to you a little. Oh yeah, by the way, the perfect time to talk to your crush is ANY TIME. I hope I helped.

Why should you care if someone else says or thinks something about you. If you like someone, you shouldn't be ashamed of it even if you are shy. I know how it feels to be that way, I just recently changed, and I am a very outgoing person now. Just become friends with him at first. Invite him to go with you somewhere or something. (If your parents don't want you dating, then tell them that you're just going out with your friends... DONT LIE TO THEM!!! Really go with your friends, they'll help to break the ice with him.) Maybe you could get to know him by writing e-mails or something.

Well maybe you could chat with him like on AIM or something. It is a really easy way to talk to someone without feeling dumb. Also who cares if people are talking... let them talk! It doesn't matter what other people think and if you want to talk to him enough then silly little girls shouldn't stand in the way between you and your love life!
About the nervousness thing... you just need to find something that you both have in common. Maybe if you have any classes together then you could talk about how hard the test was or maybe even have a study group at someone's house to get to know them better. If none of that applys then just be brave and start talking to him!
