I am not from India. I had a dream last night you were in seventeen magazine and you had your own thing and it was called "Dear Devin". But I have been having WEIRD dreams, like really weird dreams, one about me having sex with Jessica from Laguna Beach's boyfriend ...right in front of her. Just creepy dreams like a bird trying to kill South Portland and me having to hide in the grass with my friends for 5 years, I dont know just weird dreams. I don't want to be having any weird dreams anyomre because they scare me, what should I do?

You're right, those are some pretty WEIRD dreams, haha. I have weird dreams a lot too. Do you eat before you go to bed? That might be why. But I remember reading somewhere that dreams come from our minds, and are a reflection of what we feel. For example, if you had a dream that your boyfriend was cheating on you, then that probably means that you are dealing with fear and suspicion in your life right now. A good idea is to try and keep a journal of them, and then look back and see if any of it could possibly relate to your life. Plus, it's funny to look back and see what crazy dreams you've had!

Ive been dating this guy for about a month, well weve only known each other for a month but like the second time we hung out with totally hit it off and started dating.. but his past realtionships he comes off really strong and always thinkst he girl is THE ONE. And he's not a virgin and i guess you could say he's rather experienced. & well weve only known each other for a month and i know most couples would probably have done alot but weve only been kissing and holding hands, he keeps dropping hints though that he wants more.. and hes been patient and stuff its just most teenage relationships end and i dont know if i should wait or what i mean he says he loves me so much and hes only ever been nice to me its just he was like that to all of his other gfs i cant find out if hes genuie or not and just wants to have a gf so bad and i was just at the right place at the right time goodness what do i do!!!

If he thinks all of his ex girlfriends were "the one" but they broke up, chances are that the pattern might continue. But thats not to say that he doesn't really love you. There's no way to really tell, you just have to go with what your gut tells you. If you don't wanna do anything with him, tell him. If he really loves you, then he'll understand and wait. A lot of teenage relationships do end, you're right. Beacuse we're all so young right now and we always want to see what else is out there. But I'm not saying to throw him away just yet. Give him a chance if you think he really likes you. Sometimes people change, and maybe he's changed now. But it seems to me like if he's had many ex gf's who he thought were all "the one" and has had sex with a lot of people, then maybe that's all he's looking for. Who knows. Do what you think is right.

Well first off if I were you, I'd confront him about it. Just be straightfoward. If you aren't ready or don't want to, then you don't have to. Don't let him pressure you into anything. If he really likes you, he will respect that and wait until you decide you want to, if you even decide you want to. Making sure you're both on the same page about it is the best way to go.

what are the signs when someone like a girl especialy isnot telling you the whole truth? is there a way to tell?

If she tries to avoid talking about it, stutters, or doesn't look you in the eye while she's talking, then chances are she's probably lying to you.

Like a lot of other girls, I have really bad self esteem. I'm really shy. People tell me all the time I'm pretty, I just dont see it. I've recently been on a diet [even though I wasn't really fat when i started] and lost over 20 pounds. Shouldn't I feel better about myself? I'm always wondering how people think about my looks and what they're thinking about about me. School is starting in a week and I know I'm gonna be going crazy with thinking about it. Is there anything I can do to help me start feeling good about myself?

First of all, everyone is beautiful. I know that sounded corny, but it's true. Looks aren't the only thing that makes someone pretty. It's their attitude and their personality too. And you definitely don't have to be skinny to be beautiful. If you didn't think you were fat, why did you go on a diet? To please other people, right? It shouldn't matter what they think of you as long as you love yourself. If you don't see anything wrong with you, then you shouldn't have to change yourself. If losing weight and dieting isn't making you happy, then don't do it. Period. Another part of what makes a person beautiful is their confidence. If you constantly think you suck, other people will too. Now I'm not telling you to be cocky, because that's never good, but don't be so hard on yourself. I know this is getting really long and probably annoying to read, so let me leave it at this. My advice: Don't worry so much as to what other people think. If you like yourself, that should be all that matters. You true friends will love you for whoever you chose to be. They won't make you try to be anything that you're not. Those are the ones worth keeping. The ones that make you feel good about yourself.

So i really dont have friends and I am afaird when I go to school i wont make friends..though all my old friends are tellin me i shouldn't because im cool..should i listen to them and stop thinking negatively??

New schools are always scary. There are so many "What If's" it's overwhelming. But if you just think of the negative, then you'll never have time to embrace this new experince. Think about it. This could be your chance to meet new wonderful people to be friends with, and learn so many different things. Sure, it'll be scary at first, but it does have to storm before you see a rainbow, right? Just give it a chance and give it time. There are nice people everywhere, you just have to pick them out.

I asked for your help because i am in trouble. I've lost most of my friends and i dont have many left. All beacuse of this one guy who treats me like shit. Im guessing you know who i am by now. I think he uses me but sometimes i think he loves me what should i do???

Well.

Chances are if you get the feeling he's using you, he probably is. And it seems like your friends agree that he is using you if they get mad beacuse you're seeing him. I'm sure that they are just tired of hearing that you've gotten hurt from him over and over again. But honestly think about it. Do you really wanna be with someone who is constantly hurting you? I think you need to move on and find someone who will appreciate you more than this guy. He sounds like a real jerk.
