can you tell???
what are the signs when someone like a girl especialy isnot telling you the whole truth? is there a way to tell?

What I've found with most girls is that the lengthier the excuse (/the more effort put into it), the more likely it's true.
Exceptions being:
- same excuse used often
- a lot of pauses/ um's, ah's and err's, etc.
(I can't really give a specific answer to such a broad question)

All the other answers are good, but if you think that her excuses are getting to be pretty lame, and shes having a hard time covering her ass with lame excuses, she is probably lying about something.

If she tries to avoid talking about it, stutters, or doesn't look you in the eye while she's talking, then chances are she's probably lying to you.

her facial expressions. or if she looks around a lot while telling you, or if she stutters.
]
if the girl is trying to avoid the subject, or switches subjects a lot, then that is a good sign that she isn't telling you the whole truth
