Im a lire if u've seen that other question, im 11 (i felt embarrassed to say)My mum started her period between 12 and 13. I'm 12 and a couple of days, i started getting Milky discharge about a year ago. isn't that as long before you start your period? Ive hit puberty aswell, and started developing breasts. Quite allot of my friends have started and when people ask me i lie and say yes because im scared that they'll think im strange.- how long will i have to wait for it to start? You don't need to answer straight if anyone asks you have you started, you could give an awkward answer if you are worried about people knowing, or just keep it to yourself and don't discuss it.
As for when you will start; who knows?
Everyone is different,but girls usually start around the same time as their mothers.. so your period may be just around the corner *woo* :)

Is there any math revision textbooks or websites you could visit during your spare time since your teacher seems to be pre-occupied?

There was a movie I had to watch for one of my classes and forgot the name of it. I just remember it started off with a man going to bed and then a chicken walks into a room, and then an ostrich walks into his room and a mailman cycles in his room and then it goes to a scene where another man is living in a house and having incest with his aunt and then a man and woman were missing their daughter and reports it to the headminister, but she is standing right there, then a guy goes to the top story of a building and shoots everyone he sees. So tomorrow is my last day of senior classes (high school) and all of the sudden, I'm having problems with my best friend, Holly. Holly is by no means a perfect person by I have some of the best times in the world with her. She's like a sister to me we share all of our secrets and as a friend, I just love having her. There is a sense of friendship we have. She has some faults though and sometimes she doesn't treat her friends with the respect they deserve. That's why her bf broke up with her. So here's the short version of the saga. In march, I got mad at Holly and somehow we stopped talking for about a month and a half. It was one of the most miserable times in my life. Whether or not it was for a good reason , I still felt awkward around our circle of friends and awkward around her and it killed me. We started being friends again a little while later and I was happier than I'd been in months. Everything has been fine until up until a few days ago. She's been acting like she's above me and saying rude, snide things, and just taking advantage of me. We got into a few big arguments. Is Holly wrong? probably. Is it not a healthy relationship? maybe. I just feel so horrible that everything was perfect until the last day of senior year. I'm angry at her in so many different ways that I'm not even going to get into because the point is, I feel like our friendship might be ending THE LAST TWO WEEKS OF SR. YEAR. The LAST thing I want is to be miserable at prom, grad, yr. book, etc. because I KNOW I will be if we're in a fight. Should be mad at her for her crankiness and snide remarks? Should I apologize for "causing a fight?" I am honestly so upset because this is the worst time for something like this to be happening. I want to stick it out until the very end of the year, or else I'll be truly miserable. Help please (link)

I have been officially dating my boyfriend for about 14 months, and we kind of saw eachother for a month before that.
Lately, things have heated up alot and I can't help but think about sex. The thing is, my mother is extremely religious and for my entire life has talked to me about how having sex will do nothing but ruin my life.
I am not planning to have sex anytime soon, just maybe within the next year or two, but I would like a few opinions first.
I really do love my boyfriend, as stereotypical as that sounds and I am more than ok with him being my first. Do you believe that a year or two of dating makes it a bit more liable? I just dont want to end up being considered a horrible person if I do have sex with him before marraige. He has had sex once before, but has been amazing to me and is perfectly fine with waiting however long I want to, it has never been an issue.
Also, my parents always tell me that anyone they know that has been on birth control has ended up having problems with getting pregnant later. I have tried researching this, but many websites have different ideas on the matter. I was wondering if anyone knew for sure if this would be a huge issue. When I do have sex, whenever it is, I want to be able to use birth control pills, condoms and spermicide, just to be extra safe.
However, once again, I have alwasy been taught sex before marraige is one of the greatest sins that can be committed. I dont really believe that, but it does bother me. If anyone has their own viewpoints on this, it would be great to hear.

I've never heard of birth control causing pregnancy problems later in life
and i don't want you to think im a slut or anything but I lost my virginity at 14 after about 3-4 months. I feel happy for you that your boyfriend isn't pressuring you because mine did and I do regret it :(

this might be kinda long so bear with me :)
i have just realized that the main reason why i dont get along with girls my age and dont even get any of them, is not because of me, its because of how they are. i realized that american girls are pretty much sluts, stereotypical, materialistic, insincere, self-centered, and only care about a guy with eitehr a full-on sixpack, or a guy with a ton of money. (Sorry, american women, that's just my opinion.)
i know this might not matter to me, or it shouldnt, but im only 16 years old and in high school, but i've dont some traveling to different countries to see what its like, and what people are like. I went to thailand last summer and all i can say about the people, wow. The men are so patient and calm and peaceful, the women are even the same. they are sincere, always smiling, and always helpful instead of just giving you attitude and scoffing in your face and rolling their eyes.
I went to england and the people there are so civilized. its so different that its unbelievable. The brits dont talk out loud and dont have attitude and dont confront random people in the park about whats bothering them. Its really comforting to be around them, same with Canadians.
i KNOW that you guys might think im being superficial, and kinda stupid like (everybodys different, nationality does change anything) but teh truth is, it does. All of the TV shows in america like, the real world, jersey shore, rock of love, and all of those reality shows influence american girls to dress like the people they see on tv, AND, act like them. Where as in England or parts in Canada, the tv doesnt broadcast so many graphic things as they do in America, And its not only TV, its the radio, music, movies, etc.
i'm actually considering moving to england or to ontario after i graduate high school next year for this reason, just to be in a betetr surrounding, instead of being scared to death in my southern california home wondering if some crook is gonna break into my car.

This is a hard one really, your friend must be really shocked/upset...maybe even embarassed
The best thing you can do is to let it sink in for her then maybe ring her up or go and see her
Ask her how it went (telling her partner) ask how shesfeeling and just generally try to cheer her up
The best way to get over something is to be distracted so do soemthing fun to take her mind off it

I am a 16 year old girl who's constantly surrounded by rumors and gossip. At first when it all started, two years ago, I was completely confident and able to handle ALL of it. Ok so a very close friend of mine was taken advantage of by this ex boyfriend of hers while he was in a relationship with a new girl.
