I don't understand my math and whenever I listen in class I get it but whenever I take the test I fail and my mom is really mad and so am I but whenever I try to go to the tutoring hours for my teacher she's never there

Math isn't easy to learn.The secret of passing math with good grades is solving extra exersises.You have to solve so many extra exersises to be literally perfect in the lesson you taking.I use to struggle with math so much,I got a tutor,and all he did was give me extra exersises,and a lot of them,so that when I went to school to do the test,I knew how how to solve the test,and in less time than I usually take.Math just needs parctice,so don't worry.Just keep on working hard and please,done give up because math is one of the most important subjects you're ganna take in school.oh&if things don't work out get a tutor,or have one of your smart classmates help you out after school,you can also ask your teacher to give you extra exersises.I hope I helped,Goodluck and no matter what happens,don't give up.You can do anything you set your mind to.:)xx

If your teacher is being paid to be there during tutoring hours she should be there. Go to the guidance office or your school principal and ask for help. When your told to go to tutoring hours explain you have and that the teacher is never there.In the alternative you could have mom call the principal and ask for help giving the same explanation when told to send you to tutoring hours.
Some people just can't take tests. They know the work but freeze up when it comes to testing. You could discuss this with your teacher and see if there is an alternative way of showing her you have mastered the lesson.

I tend to have the same exact problem! What I did about it, is at lunch I went in forastudy session with the teacher. The teacher is there to help you understand things. During a test my problem is im nervous and dont do well. So you need to be confidemt a treat it like homework. Just try this and im sure your grades will improve. Oh, and dont be afraid to ask the teacher questions!
