Well for the first part your ex problem you need to tell this person you enjoy his company but in a friend sorta way not like realtionship romantic way. And just be honest and real with him because if he cares about you and is any kind of friend he will understand.
Now as for the second problem with the gay friend..have you talked to him about the way he is being?????? Maybe he is haveing problems at home or has something he is dealing with that you dont know because he doesn't want ANY one to know because he is ashamed or maybe he is scared to tell anyone. Things like that happen all the time and even the best of friends have secrets that they dont tell each other and people can hide things very well if they want to its a talent that every one has and most of the time they dont know how to deal so the distance themselves from everyone. So let him know how u are feeling but also reasure him that you are there fro him and he can talk to you nomatter what and he doesn't have to worry bout it gettin out if he doesn't want it too. And just be there for him and not give up and he will realize you are a good and true friend and things will eventuallly get better.

17/f. I recently found out that one of my really good guy friends (17/m) likes me a lot. I don't see him as anything more than a friend, though. My problem is that we have a really close group of friends (there are 6 of us who hang out all the time), and I don't want to let things get out of hand and make things awkward. He is being very, very, very obvious about this. I know that by not stopping it, I'm essentially leading him on... and the last thing I want to do is hurt him because I love him like a brother. I really screwed things up the other night... when our group of friends was doing homework on his bed, he sat super duper close to me (almost to the point of snuggling?) and I didn't do anything about it (because at the time I didn't know the extent of his feelings and thought we were just being friendly). I mean, I think snuggling is perfectly okay when it's all in good fun... I get the bad friend award, I'm totally aware. So my question is, how should I handle this situation, and what should I do if he makes any sort of move on me?
You say he is a very good friend so you don't want to miss lead him because then neither one of you are going to be happy and you are going to find yourself trapped wanting out of a sticky situation. The best thing to do is pull him aside one day and tell him how you feel. If he is really your friend then he wont get mad and he will understand. Because thats twhat true freinds do and he might be upset at first but then he will realize you did the right thing and that it would have been worse if you had mislead and things will go back to normal. I had taken the other road once and lets just say things turned out really bad and i almost lost the best friend i ever had.

There is this guy that I really like a lot. The thing is i've never met him. He lives a state over. Anyway I told my friend that I really liked him, and i'd talk about him and how great he really is. Well when I showed my friend his picture, she wanted to talk to him. So they started talking, she has nick names for him, they talk more than him and I do. If you have really talked to your friend about how much it is bothering you and him and they both have not stopped then they really dont care about you and your feelings. and you dont need someone like that you can do so much better. Plus the odds of them really meeting is slim to none unless they make a date and then you will know about it and no the truth about what kind of people they really are so i wouldn't stress it and play by ear each day as it comes because you are a great person and have your whole life to find a great partner

I had a friend like that and the best thing you can do is just end that friendship because eventually she will do something with the guy or there will be one guy too much and you will be at war. Long story short, I slept in the same bed with my best guy friend. (I'm 16/f, he's 16/m) And he actually slept, like not sex or anything, but we went to sleep.
