make homemade chocolate covered pretzels (its so much fun) ... use white, milk, and dark chocolate and a variety of pretzels. (dont' use off brand chocolate...they dont come out as good.) even get some red and green sprinkles for on some. Put them in ziplocks and then into a small gift box. Makes a great gift almost anyone will enjoy!!! I have done it for years and not found oneperson who didn't like them!

My fiancee has a huge family, and I'm on a student budget, so here's what I did for all of them.

Get a set of huge (size 12-13) knitting needles, and some really bulky yarn (I use Red Heart Light & Lofty). Pick up some simple instructions, or get someone who knows how to teach you how to knit. I can churn out a scarf in about 4 hours while I'm watching TV, and they cost between 6 and 8 dollars each. It's a nice gift that is inexpensive while still really meaningful. Plus, who doesn't like scarves?

for your friends check out claires and pick out some cute accesories for each of them. sometimes they have a 10 for $5 dollar sale and ask them if they have surprise bags because sometimes they have them for $1 and they could have a lot of really cute stuff for them.

if you don't like that maybe buy/make some picture frames and put a picture of you and your friend in it with like a candy cane.

for the teachers i would just go with like christmas cards and a candy cane.
