I'm about to buy a new straightener and I wanna make sure I get a good one this time.. I need some advice on what kind of straightener to get (cereamic, glass, gold, etc). I want one that will NOT ONLY straighten my hair really well, but also make it STAY straight all day. What do u all recommend? (something cheap, not over $30) Thanks!! i'll rate HIGH!!

"Hot Tools-Professional" is the greatest! I use it every day. And DON'T get the ceramic ones! They aren't good and don't work well..even though people say they do. There's just a regular hot iron with gold-colored plates. I get mine at Sally's Beauty Supply, but you can only go in there if you have a professional hair dresser with you. You could probably find them at like Target or Walmart (department stores), I guess? At Sally's I think they cost about $25 to $40, I'm not really sure. Sometimes you can find them on sale for $19.99! But believe me, they are REALLY worth your money!! Good luck ♥

ok i have covergirl foundation stuff and it comes off throughout the day... like i look in the mirror in the moringin and i look good but after a few hours at school it all comes off and i look really tired! does anyone know any good foundations that stay on? thanx!

I'm not sure about any good foundations--but you could always go to the mall and go to a makeup stand. They can give you some tips. But as for it coming off---you can just bring your foundation to school and reapply it during the day! Hope it works ♥

how much does getting your belly button pierced hurt? what do you have to do to take care of it and do you think 13 is too young?
I have never gotten my belly button pierced, but I know people who have. The said it hurt SO much. I think you do the same thing to take care of it as you would with a regular piercing, like cleaning it and twisting it, maybe? You can always go to a piercing place and just ask for information. You may have to bring your parent/guardian with you though, they don't allow 13 year olds sometimes. You might not even be allowed (by LAW) to get it pierced (sucks). Yes, I do think 13 is too young. Even though I am 13 also, I still think if I got mine pierced, I'd regret it. If I were you I'd wait until I was older..at LEAST 18. Hope this helped. i don't experiment with my hair. usually just keep it straightened and long. but anyways i feel like doing something new with it and i just took a shower so it's still pretty damp but with my actual question: what does mousse do to your hair? i've been trying to get that like crimped *but not so crimped* like.. wavy/curly look. and when i talk to girls who do it they say their hair is naturally like that and they just gel it up. but my hair is like.. just small wavy when it's gel'd and my best friend said just put mousse in it but problem is i don't have any mousse and i'd like to know what it looks like before i go borrow or buy some.
Mousse is just like gel--but it's like foamy instead of liquidy. It makes your hair like hard? I guess that's what you could describe it as. It makes it easier to scrunch your hair with tho. You just put the mousse in your hair when it's wet and squeeze your hair together with your hands. Then you can dry it with a hair dryer once you're done if you want to. Hope this helped =)

Well, I shop a lot at Abercrombie. And some of my friends aren't allowed to shop there. They'd be like 'Oh cute shirt, where'd you get it?' and then I would be like 'Abercrombie' and then they'd tell me that they weren't allowed to shop there. I don't see what's wrong with the place and shopping there. Can anyone tell me what's wrong or are my friends just being too closed minded?? Thanks and I rate.

I have straight hair already, but it is pretty static and VERY flyawayish...and its kinda bushy sometimes...what is the best hair straightener out there? I've heard ceramic hair straighterners are good??
Well it really depends on the straightener you have. Some ceramics ones are absolutely horrible. But some are decent. I have straight hair but I straighten my hair every single day, and the Hot Tools Professional (it's not ceramic) hair straightener works great!! I love it..it gets all the "frizzies" out and makes it very flat. You can get this straightener at Sally's Beauty Supply. I'm not sure if they sell it other places, but I'm sure you could check! Wow--two years, long time. Well, it really depends what your in to, and your style. Here's some different types of stores: Pacific Sunwear (aka Pac Sun, kind of surfer/skater), Hot Topic (punk/goth, I guess, if thats what you want to call it), Aeropostale (sometimes..it's kind of like 'cute' stuff..it has cool PJ's) and there's so much more. I guess you could just go to the closest mall and check around the stores..see what you like. There seems to be a lot of surfing and skating brands of clothing being worn these days (ex: Vans, Etnies, BAM, Billabong, [some] Roxy).
As for the hair: A lot of people like their hair straightened (like me). Some people pull their hair up also. Once you have it up, you could put it into a bun, a messy bun (with hair all sticking out, self-explanatory), or just a pony tail. The popular music now depends on what kind you like. These are some of the bands I like (I like rock, punk, emo, etc): Something Corporate, Taking Back Sunday, Hawthorn Heights, My Chemical Romance, Green Day, New Found Glory, Household Audio (local band), and more. If you're into like "pop" music, there's Ryan Cabrera. He's new, and he's like always on the radio. That's all I know, sorry, I'm not into pop // rap // R&B. when i finish blow drying my hair straight, i do my make up. After I do my powder for some reason my hair gets really staticky. Is there a way to keep it from getting that way?
Blow drying your hair does make it a little staticky (sp?). I straighten my hair instead, because it makes it smoother and less frizzy. If your hair's wet and you need to blow dry it, go ahead. Then after that you can also straighten it. If you don't want to straighten it, as a couple people said, you can get a dryer sheet and you just simply wipe it down your hair. I've done it before and it really works!! Good luck! :P

plz dont delete this question i need answeres fast!! okay..today is wednesday and next wednesday im going to make an appointment to get highlights...but saturday im leaving to go to hawaii and i was wondering if i can swim with my new highlights and them not get discolored or faded?? i REALLY want to get highlights over christmas break and im busy everyday except wednesday..help!!
If the highlights you are getting are permanent, they'll definately stay in in the water. But if you go in a pool or something (because of the chlorine), then they might get discolored a little bit. Have fun in Hawaii! :)

Yes, if the people in your school are like that..they will call you a poser. But I don't like when people call people posers. Dress how YOU want to dress. If you want to wear "punk" clothes, then wear them. If you want to wear "preppy" clothes, then wear 'em. Who cares what people think about you? If they don't want to be your friend because of the way you dress, that's rediculous! If that guy you like only likes girls who dress punk, then he's an idiot. No offense and all if you like him, but I mean come on..he's like stereotype-ing (if thats even a word..?) Do what YOU want.

If you have one near you, you can get good ones at Piercing Pagoda (or any piercing place around you). Or you could get them at a tattoo place (because they usually do piercings there also). There's also Claires, but I wouldn't recommend that. Whenever I (and anybody else I know) used the earrings from there, they infected my ear. Usually becuase they are not real. But if that's all you got, then you could just go there. I think they have sterling silver earrings there, but you'll have to check. Good luck :)

i have this bed head stuff i used to scrunch my hair, it always seems to get frizzy when i put hairspray in it, but i have to otherwise it won't hold.. what can i do to it that'll make it less frizzy??
When you scrunch your hair, use gel, mousse, and/or hair-wax. They work best for scrunching. THEN when you are done..you can use hairspray to hold it more, but you don't necessarily have to.

Whenever i straighten my hair, there's always a dent from the straightener @ the roots (where my part is). How do i get rid of the dent/prevent it? thanks i rate high!!
When you straighten your hair, don't stop while your pulling it down your hair. That's what creates the dent. I get that all the time. If that does happen, just straighten that section again, but a little quicker that before.

15/f... ive had my hair cut short for two years now! im talking no longer than three inches long all around. Well now I want to grow it out! any suggestions on how to do this QUICK or what to do with it while it's growing out? thanks!
When you start to see that you are getting split-ends, go get your hair trimmed (only trimmed, not cut). You'll know if you get split-ends. Basically look at the ends of your hair and see if the hair is splitting. If you get it trimmed, your hair should grow faster. Other than that, theres not much you can do. Everybody's hair grows at a different rate. Sorry :/

ok well i have straight hair but for some reasons its really really frizzy! and like i have "Frizz-ease" but you can only use that when your hair is wet . .. and i usually shower at night and for school its soo frizzy ! does anyone know a friz-control product that you can use on dry hair ?

This isn't a product, but I have straight hair too, and I use this. I bought a good, professional hair straightener and I use that every morning. Even though my hair is straight. It takes all the friz out because it flattens it all out. The brand of my straightener is "Hot Tools: Professional". Hope it works for you!

what are some good eyeshadow colors for someone with green eyes?
