when i finish blow drying my hair straight, i do my make up. After I do my powder for some reason my hair gets really staticky. Is there a way to keep it from getting that way?
PinkLady4863 answered Monday December 20 2004, 5:59 pm: of course. first of all, there are so many hair products!. straightening gel, bed head is the best for hair. but if you want to stay all natural i would say take showers at night, let ur hair dry naturally, then straighten with a straightener in the morning. whatever you decide, do not put water in your hair! it looks greasey and bad.
good luck hunnie,

eatcheez-itz answered Monday December 20 2004, 5:04 pm: i used to have the same problem. my hair is naturally curly and i hate it, but if i blow dried it fast enough it was be pretty much straight, but it was always all staticky. then my hairdresser told me straightening it would help and it really does. even if ur hair is already straight, dont worry u just have to go over it slightly, and trust me the statick will be gone. jbdreamer answered Monday December 20 2004, 4:55 pm: I don't think it has anything to do with you make up. My advice would be to get a new conditioner, something with moister. Your staticky hair is a sign that it is too dry, a common problem in the winter. [ jbdreamer's advice column | Ask jbdreamer A Question ]
AsKmE135 answered Monday December 20 2004, 4:55 pm: Try a leave in conditioner. Pantene Light Spray Conditioner works really well.. and leaves your hair smelling really good too. :-) Spray in just a little bit after your hair is dry so your hair doesn't get too greasy feeling. Hope I helped! [ AsKmE135's advice column | Ask AsKmE135 A Question ]
