Welcome to the junkdrawer that is my brain! I know something about many things, and I if I don't know it, I admit that I don't know. That I am constantly finding things I know nothing about and correcting that ignorance keeps me busy and happy. More junk for the drawer.

I love and have experience with many types of animals, including the human. I don't offend easy and I am generally cynical and a smart-butt. I love to drive, read, work on the computer and I spend WAY too much time watching Anime and bidding on ebay.

i drink diet coke all the time. my friends say it will give me cancer. is that true? becuase i dont want the calories and carbs and sugar from soda or juice but i dont love water either.

When Neutrasweet was put in Diet Coke the rate of Multiple Sclerosis nearly doubled in the female population. None of the sweeteners on the market are truely safe or properly tested includeing the old stand by Sacrine. Sacrine testing in links to cancers have never been proven to conclusion because the lab test results have not been consistant. That said, yes carbonated drinks in general a terrible for your health. Water is truely the best thing for anyone to drink. Healthy alturnatives to diet and carbonated drinks? Unsweetened green tea, organic soy milk without carageenan a known carcinogen, and no sugar added fruit juices in small amounts. You truely can develop a taste for water and it would be in your best interest to try. Good luck!

I need to find newspaper articles from 8 weeks ago. But since I recycled all of them, where would I go to get them? I believe libraries have them, but I need to cut out and use the actual article. Help?

You can't just make a copy? Hum, try contacting the paper itself. I know that old papers are returned each day, plus they may have something called a morg of old copies. Good luck!

Today my boyfriend told me some stuff would be much more enjoyable if my lower region was shaved, but the problem is, it IS shaved. My question is- how 'shaved' can you get? Can you get to where there aren't even the little hairs? I've tried that before, but all it did was leave me with razorburn.

no, it will become a sort of funky ice pop though. Problem is trying to get it out of the container. Ice cream can be made with buttermilk and strawberry jam that way. It's not great, but at least you can put a spoon in it.

Hi, I was wondering if it was safe to blow-dry your hair during a storm. My hair gets really frizzy if I don't blow-dry it as soon as possible, but I don't want to get electricuted! what books do you have to read to become a witch and beable to do witchcraft? and is there sertain rules about it thats different than the regular life stuff?

It has been quoted many times that there are no stupid questions, just stupid answers. I don't believe that. I believe the computer programing adage, "Garbage in; garbage out."

That said, here is my garbage to you. Witchcraft is not just something you read in a book and learn to do. If you go at the practice this way you will regret it. You do not just become a witch. The various branches of witchcraft are based on spiritual beliefs passed down through the years like any other religion or spirituality. Trying to become a witch like you'd become an English teacher will not work. You can go to any bookstore and look into their New Age section to find what you are looking for, but I would seriously suggest that you not pursue this idea.

i'm going to florida in 2 weeks and i'm staying there for awhile. when i wake up early in the morning to go to the parks and stuff, after i get out of the shower i don't really have all that much time to do my hair. i don't like blowdrying it down there because it is really hot! does anyone have any cute & easy hairstyle that i could do while my hair is wet without making it frizzy? thanks! i rate high!

Only if your hair is long, but you didn't mention the length. If your hair is long, try a Frech or Dutch braid, you can find out how to do that on the web. Also there is a real simple pony tail that you slipt above the band and then retread your hair through the holw. It makes a pretty V.

I have a pet monkey. I also have an awesome girlfriend who I plan to ask for her hand in marrage. I love her a lot and she means the world to me. However.. I had alredy bought a very expensive white gold and diamond encrusted engagement ring. But.. I know this is going to sound stupid and made up.. but my monkey ate it. He seriously honest to god te it! I dont have enough money to buy her a new one.. so what to I do?

Take the monkey to the vet. It could get stuck somewhere in the system and kill your pet, or the vet may say a good laxitive will solve the problem. I would take the ring back to the store for a replacement though. Uck!

i have a really bad blister on my foot/back ankle from my work shoes and i dont have money to get new ones, is there something i can put on my ankle to make the blister better, i have a bandaid on it but it still hurts. also, the place it gave me a blisterright above my heel were the top, back of the shoe usually rubs. is there anything i can put there to keep from getting the blisters because i have to wear short socks and i walk all day so a lot of time they fall or i just dont have time to make sure my sock is over the area....is there anything i can do? I know is a weird question but i walk all day at work and these are very bad blisters!!

You can buy a material called moleskin and cut a patch to cover the area that rubs your foot wrong. You can find it in the health and bueaty aid section of Wal-Mart. Just ask someone to help you look for it. I haven't bought the stuff in along time, so I can't tell you what the packaging will look like. The material is soft and thin enough to both relieve the problem and not change the overall fit of you shoes.

Mostly from my personal experience, and observation of friends and aquaintences. I also have an excellent college education and collect trivia like a magnet. Plus common sense. Yes, common sense is a very important factor to good advise.

I am 15/f and I haven't had a crush in 2 years! Lately, I've been thinking, and I don't know if I am bi or straight! I want to be straight ..because everyone else is..and because it seems like the right way to live..but then my mind tells me that I could be bi..I am sooo CONFUSED! I really don't know what to do because I can't tell anyone! I mostly have girl-friends but I've never been attracted to any of them..sometime's I look at their butts and boobs..(but isn't that a normal thing that girls usually notice about eachother??) I am attracted to guys..sometimes when I saw a hot guy, I stare and tell my friends "Wow he's hot!" I'd like to think I'm straight but my mind keeps telling me I'm bi! I'm so confused!

If I'm reading this right, you think you may be bi because you haven't had a crush in 2 years? That my dear, is bullshit. You are attracted to men. You have looked at your friends' butts and boobs, and you know they have looked at yours. At your age girls do that just to compare growth. This is automatic and you have no control over it. Do you want to grab one of your friends' boobs or butts and put your fingers in unmentionable places and have them do the same to you? If not, you are not bi. This just means you are growing up and becoming more picky in you taste of men. Little girls fall half in love with every cute face or lopsided smile. A young woman knows there is more to a boy than this. You just haven't found anyone worthy or you yet. Relax, it will happen when it happens.

I am a 34 C cup size. Im really skinny though. I actually wear one of the smallest pant size like size 1. I dont know what do do about a bathing suit. Their all to small.

Go to a Wal Mart eye center. They can fit you and you can buy the contacts there for a good price.

I just got my period again today (not the first time) But I have a wicked bad cramp. Like I came home from school because it was way too unbearable. Any ways on how to make it less painful other than take advil or w/e cuz i already did.

Midol and Pamperin are very good, but you can also use herbal products like rosehips and black cohash. Moist heat also feels good, but only use it twenty minutes at a time.

I have a friend that has been drinking and stuff. I've told her not to but i know she doesn't care. And now everybody is all like yeah i drink a lot and i've gotten drunk and smoked that. It seems like everybody smokes and drinks! it's crazy we're all still young! Here's the thing. Your friends KNOW they shouldn't do drugs or drink. You don't need to tell them anything. They know and do it anyway, you'll just come off as a prude. However, not everyone does drugs and drinks. It's a matter of personal choice. You make good choices, they make bad choices. You can't protect your friends from the concequences, but you can prevent yourself from following them. I've been lucky in my life that the friends I've had that do drugs and drink too much have always respected my choice not to do either. People that try to push you into something you feel will be harmful and don't want to do are not your friends. You are right that this is a big deal. The choices made now will effect you for the rest of your life. Good luck!

Yes. Any debt can be reported to the agencies after 30 days. You have the right to contest it though.

im asking this question for my friend...

one year ago, when my friend and her family were away, some little girl was walking through the alleyway. my friend's neighbor's dog is really big and scary, so the little girl ran, and jumped my friend's fence to hide from the dog, and as a result, broke her arm and needed surgery.

one year later, my friend's parents get a letter in the mail saying that they will be getting sued because it happened on their property. IT'S NOT EVEN THEIR FAULT. can they fight against this?

Yes. They can fight it. It is actually the dog owner who is supposed to pay I think. That is if their dog was not on a leash or chain. However, I am not an expert. Your friends parents need a lawyer to look over the case.
