14/f 8th grade. Here latley I've been really depressed because almost everyone in my grade has been out with someone and has had a bf or gf. I haven't. And I've been noticing that whenever I watch a movie or something and a couple has a sweet little kiss or something, it just kinda bums me out because i always dream of having a cute, hot, sweet, nice boyfriend and here latley i've been dreaming of that first kiss. and it makes me really depressed. i mean, what if i never meet that one special person to be in high school with, and what if i never find someone that i will marry and have a family with. this all just makes me really depressed. i mean, obviously no one likes me because no one has ever asked me out or anything, well, at least no one i like. haha. anyways, what can i do to get over this? i know that i'm not even in high school yet, but what if i don't ever find anyone?! this is making me soo sad. help!!!!!! thank ya much!!!

I went through the same thing for quite a while. It just so happens when I least expected it the right guy came. I know someone who didn't have their first boyfriend til 16 and same with their first kiss, but now she's very happy. She has a boyfriend who loves her and has a good relationship. You will find someone. There will be more guys in highschool. Most guys now don't have the balls to ask a girl they like out and if they do odds are their not the good ones.. Just try and become friends with more guys. Maybe put yourself out there go to mixers and flirt with the guys your interested in. Ok not too much flirting because it can annoy the hell outta them. Just enough for them to get the hint. Mind you guys in 8th grade are very imature. You are probably looking for a relationship most of them can't give you. Seriously, just wait and the right guy will come! You could just try to establish your best friends and worry about boys later. You will not be alone forever trust me! Ok I hope you feel better!!

My boyfriend is 16 and I am 13, I know that is kind of a big age difference but he's alot more mature. I'm really afraid to go to the movies with him and stuff because I don't want him to try to make a move. I'll make out with him and stuff, but he might try to reach down my pants, and I'm soo NOT ready for that. How do I tell him that without sounding like a prude? It doesn't sound like he's just going out w/ you for sex because he knows you won't and your inexperienced and sounds like he just likes you for you. Yet, those could just be lines. Set boundaries with him. Just sit him down and say I'm only 13 and I'm not ready to do anything but make out. If he ever tries to pressure you, DUMP HIM!! He's just some boy, don't do anything stupid. Your only 13 you don't need to be tied down to some boy, you don't owe him anything!! If it makes you more comfortable to go to the movies w/ him and a friend do it. Good Luck!

so theres this guy.. that ive liked since i was little.. and im 13 now and when we were little he use to come over alot. because he was my brothers best friend. and then he liked me too so we flirted alot.. and we really started to like eachother.. and he is 17 and i know its bad but i really think i loved him. and we dated for a month wihtout my mom knowing.. and then he broke up with me because he liked soemone else and because his dad with the age difference.. and we sitll talk alot and hang out and when we hang out we flirt but when i ask him if he likes me he says yes alot.. but he doesnt want to date .. but he might want to when we get older.. what do i do? do i just wait?

I would try to move on because if your going to wait you'll be waiting for a while. I'd move on. You can still be friends with him, but try to find differnt guys you like your age. How can you tell if the person you're kissing and/or making out with is truthfully enjoying it and not just faking satisfaction in order to continue getting more lip action?

You can't really tell. Though,for me all I gotta do is look at their eyes and you can pretty much tell if their into it or not.

About 6 weeks ago I was dumped over the internet by my long term bf. He did it in a very cowardly and cruel way with no explanation- pretty ignorant for a 3 year relationship. Everyone is telling me I'm better off without him. When I first met him I thought he was mr. right- he was caring, attentive; and charming. But then I saw his true colours. He would yell at me for no reason; get extremely jealous when I talked to his male friends; constantly put me and other women down; was a womanizer and cheated on me; and had a porn addiction. The meanest thing he ever did was stick his face in mine and yell "I"M SO SORRY"! after I told him his friends at a party were making me uncomfortable. I started writing a list of all the crap he did to me to make me feel better. But there is still a part of me that misses him when he was nice. Does anyone have any methods for how I can get over this jerk? And why do I still want him after everything he did?

The only way to get over him is to not talk to him or see him. You still want him bc you really cared for him and still remember the good he did to you and can't seam to forget it despite what he did wrong. You've got to focuss on the present and how he treated you now not then. Try finding a new person, put yourself out there. Have friends hook u up on dates. Hang out w/ people more, stay busy. I'm really sorry, it happens to all of us at times. You really do diserve better and don't forget that. Good Luck & I'm very sorry!!

Get a group of friends together to go to a movie or the pool, and ask him if he would like to go. It shows your just trying to be nice and include him, not controlling. When your in the group of friends try to get alone w/ him and talk. Then gradually build a better friendship and call him. Good Luck!

I can understand why she would get mad, you blabbed a very important secret without asking. I would of told my friend if I were you though, I agree it is the right thing to do. I just think you should of told your other friend that you were going to tell this girl. You might want to apologize to your friend and tell her you think it was the right thing to do but realized you should of at least informed her you were going to tell. That's all you really can do. Nah your not slutty. Sometimes people feel like they can't stop themselves either, it's not just you and your not a slut for saying that. If your going to make out with him do it in a place where you know you can't go any farther than that. Like, in a movie theatre or other places where your friends are close. Don't worry!!

This guy liked me for several years. He told me and asked me out several times. I started to like him too. We decided to try it out, and for several months we were blissfully happy. And then it all went wrong. I got mad about something I heard about him cheating on me, he got mad I didn't trust him and dumped me on the spot. First issue in our relationship and we're over. He then expected me to be friends with him but I said screw you and blocked him.

My mom reckons he was just using me. I just can't understand why he would, but then why would he give up on me so easily? I know he had liked me a long time yet one bad thing happens and it's over. Just like that. No attempt to work things out.
I tried to make a complete break of him and get him out of my life and for a few weeks I didn't hear from him. Then he messaged me out of the blue and we started talking. And we discussed where it all went wrong, and he said he had been planning to do it for a while but he was going to do in person. Then he said "let's meet and work it all out, perhaps get back together, at least let's be friends" and agreed and went up to him the next day, and he made me feel like a fool by saying there was nothing else to work out. He said he only wanted to be friends again. So I yelled at him that night and said I no longer wanted to try and be friends and he said I was a bitch because we had been friends for so long and I was throwing it all away. I told him it was no longer my concern and if he wanted to work things out, he had to come up to me and do it in person and he was the one who gave up on us so easily. Haven't heard from him since. The truth is, I didn't wanna be friends because I couldn't get over him that way.
We work together so I see him all the time. And I can't get over him even though he's such an asshole and he's probably over me. What should I do? Am I a bitch for not being friends with him? And why would he give up on us so easily if he had liked me so long? That makes me so mad.. I wanted to work things out and he didn't.. I can't figure it out.

Wow, that pretty much happened to me, cept it was a little bit differnt. No your not a bitch for not wanting to be his friend! A real friend wouldn't of treated you that way! You need to get over him and he should understand that. Maybe he did do something wrong, like cheat on you but tried to put it back on you not trusting him. Trying to make it your fault and an easy way out of the relationship. Maybe he was happy with you and got bored and started to use you or used you all along. You can't really know for sure why he acted the way he did. If you really want to know you have to ask him all these questions. I'm really sorry that happened to you. Good Luck!

It really just depends on the guy your dating. You could be 13 dating a 15 year old but he could be a great guy who really loves you, or a guy that is using you bc he thinks your easy bc yur younge. A 3 year difference isn't that big of a deal, just make sure the guy/girl is treating you and wanting you for the right reason.

Don't wait. Play hard to get, he'll want you even more if he knows he can't have you and your not waiting for him. Just be like ok I'm not waiting for you, I don't wait for guys.
