it's actually harder for a skinny person to gain muscles than it is for a fat person. what you ahve to do is eat a lot more than you normally do.. especially take in more protein.. which can be found in like chicken and other foods.. and also drink protein shakes and protein bars.. and i think that if you boil eggs and eat only the white parts of it and not the yolk, it can help you get more muscles on your body.
and the last and most obvious way is to excersize. try to do like as many crunches you can do 3 times a day(morning, afterschool/work, night).. but not so much that it wears you out. then try to do a little more crunches the next day, and more the day after that.. and if you keep this up, you'll have a six pack very soon. and for your arms.. just try to lift some weights and do push ups...

Q: My brother weighs 170-180 pounds and is about 5' 10"-5' 11" One catch. He is about the skinniest guy I know. He has like a six pack, no lies. But everywhere I look he's overweight, like am-i-fat.com and whatever. He lifts like 120 pounds, no jokes, goes to the Health Club everyday, lifts on the Boflex... so is the scale simply not considering muscle weight, or does he need help?

no, your brother's fine, and it sounds like he's got a pretty hot body too, lol.
the scale is not very accurate when it comes to muscles. muscles weigh more than fat, and when you check on the scale, it wont know what's muscles and what's fat, so they count everything as fat. so like even if you've got a buffed out body and ripped abs, the BMI calculator will show that you have the same percentage of fat as a fatass couch potato, and that's completely wrong.
so like yea.. your brother's not overweight, he's perfect the way he is

when a person runs a mile, and another person walks a mile, they're going to burn about the same amount of calories, except that the person running burns a little more calories. but running is a lot better because it helps you gain muscles and makes you look more lean.
walking can help you lose some weight, but i doubt it's going to help you lose your stomach fat. because when you're walking, you're just moving your legs, therefore.. you're only exercising your legs.
to make your stomach look less fat, you're gonna have to do crunches, leg lifts, etc... you can also eat a cup of yoplait light 3 times a day. that can help you lose weight and it'll probably take some weight off your stomach too

it hydrates and refreshes your body and um... it's good for you. umm i think it can help you lose weight, like.. if you get hungry.. you can just drink a few glasses of water and you won't be hungry anymore. so instead of eating something with hundreds of calories, you can drink water with no calories.
you can probably lose weight by doing this, but you shouldnt do it the whole day because even though water is good for you, it's not going to give you any energy

i used to feel that way when i did situps everyday. your abdomen(i think thats what it's called) just hurts because you have new muscles there, and it's sore from all the situps. it's not a big deal, and the pain will go away in a few days, :)

if you want to tone your stomach, then you should try leg lifts. just lay on your back on a flat surface, and lift up your legs at the same time. your legs might get sore after doing this a few times, but it actually helps to tone your stomach, and it's easier than crunches. i dont know any exercises you can do to tone your back, but i think that if you use a medicine ball, it can help you. I dont know what exercises to do cuz i've never actually heard of someone trying to tne their back..
and for your legs, you should try squates. lay against a wall and position yourself to make it seem as if you were sitting on a chair. you have to make it look like a square from your thigh to you calf to the floor to the wall. I dont kno if that makes sense, haha.. but from your thighs to your calves, there should be a 90degree angle.

when you're feeling hungry, and you dont want to gain weight, just drink a few glasses of water and you wont feel hungry anymore
just cut back on your food intakes, n eat less snacks and fattening food.
eat healthier food like from subways instead of fast food joints.
if you eat 3 servings of dairy products a day, it'll help you lose more weight than if you were to just cut back on calories.

you should definately try doin crunches. when I first started doin crunches, I was only able to do 20 each time and it was really painful. now like after 3 months, I can do atleast 200 each time. my stomach is much nicer now. my friend also had a fat stomach, so i told her to do crunches. and like after a few weeks, she told me that she definately saw results and that her stomach was smaller.
try it because I'm sure that it'll tone your stomach if you do it everyday

ooo cool, I have a belly button pierce. and when I got it, people didn't think i was slutty. they thought it was cool and attractive. you should definately get one.
it didnt really hurt, like maybe it was really painful for 2 seconds or so.. but it really wasn't a big deal. the whole process took less than half a minute, and ya..

i used to be bulimic and anorexic, like half a year ago. first i would stick my finger down my throat after i ate dinner. n then i started doin it more often. and when i started losing weight, i started eating less and less. and whenever i ate, i would throw it all up. :(
dont be like that because if you want to change yourself for this guy, it isnt worth it. no one can be anorexic/bulimic their whole life, and when you stop being that way, you'll gain the weight back and even more.
it's not healthy, and if you become anorexic or bulimic for too long, your body will be extremely vulnerable, and you might even die
and even if you do go out with the guy, he might dump you for another skinny girl. and when that happens, you'll soo regret having the eating disorder. and it's harder to heal from the disorder than it is having the disorder

you're about the right size. many guys like hour glass figures, meaning a body with a big chest, small waist, and a big butt/hips. Even if your belly might be a little fat, I dont think many guys will care because atleast you've got big boobs and a big butt. and if you dont like the shape of your stomach, you can always try sucking in when you're around hot guys.
stop worrying about yourself, you're fine the way you are :)

i heard that using coco butter is a great way to get rid of them. so just try rubbing coco butter lotion on places that have stretch marks once or twice a day, and they'll probably fade away or disappear in a few weeks :)

Q: I am a 14 y/o guy who is about 115 lbs and 5'6". By far I am one of the smaller guys in our class. I have been working out for a month or so. However just like everyone else knows, working out isn't the only thing that's gunna get you in shape. What other things (food,activities, etc)can I do to help my body a little bit.

you can drink/eat like protein drinks and bars, or other foods that are high in protein that will give you energy to work out more.
in tv shows and movies, I always see people eating raw eggs(i mean without the shells) when they're about to exercise, so you could try that.

Q: i decided i need to get into shape. so today i did 100 sit-ups (within 15 minutes.. i know, that's a LONG time =(..). is that too much to start with? does anyone have any other good exercising tips, for your stomach? (besides sit-ups and crunches).
also, can you do sit-ups by laying down and then going up, instead of bending your legs? Because i don't bend my legs.. so maybe it's not considered a sit-up.

i think the best way to get a nice stomach is by doin leg lifts. i dont know how many you have to do regularly, but i read somewhere that it's better than doing crunches and sit ups.
a sit up is when your legs are just flat, and crunches are when your knees are bent. they probably both have the same results, but crunches are just easier to do.
and if you're not used to doing sit ups or crunches, you should just start doing like around 20 or so 3 times a day(morning, evening, night) everyday, and then slowly increase the number of sit ups done everytime, and you'll have a nice toned stomach in a few months.. i'm working on toning my stomach too
