I am a 14 y/o guy who is about 115 lbs and 5'6". By far I am one of the smaller guys in our class. I have been working out for a month or so. However just like everyone else knows, working out isn't the only thing that's gunna get you in shape. What other things (food, activities, etc)can I do to help my body a little bit.
I REFUSE TO USE STEROIDS OR ANY OTHER MEDICAL WAY, I AM GOING TO DO THIS NATURALLY.
1.take in a small portion of carbs and a fairly small portion of protein BEFORE you work out(about 15-20 grams of protein)
2.While you are working out, between each set drink gatorade to put back the minerals you're sweating out. Do ATLEAST 3 sets of the same workout for best results...the more sets the better.
3.RIGHT AFTER you work out is when your body needs the most protein. Make a shake that has about 45 grams of protein in it. You don't have to chug it, but try and finish the shake within a few minutes.
4.While you are resting is when your muscles are actually getting bigger. Take in a nice amount of protein right before you go to bed.
try and take in atleast 1 gram of protein for each pound of body weight you have. You say you weigh 115, so try and take in 115 grams of protein per day, the more the better

Running gets your legs in shape. So does biking. Swimming works out your chest and legs. But give lifting more than just a month before you give up on it. Especially considering you're still young. in tv shows and movies, I always see people eating raw eggs(i mean without the shells) when they're about to exercise, so you could try that.
I know that like this beverage brand, ensure, sells drinks that can help you build muscles
