Belly button piercing
OK , my birthday is coming up and I really want to get my belly button pierced. But I don't know if I should because I don't want people to call me slutty and the big thing is, IM AFRAID IT WILL HURT LIKE HECK! Does it? If anyone knows , please answer my question ASAP because I need an answer quickly.

It depends on how you handle pain. I got it done and I laughed when it happened, but I went with my best friend to get it done and when she got it done she started crying. I honestly didnt even think it hurt very much. All they do is lay you down on a table, draw a dot on your bellybutton, clamp it, then take the needle and stick it through the skin. I closed my eyes, so I didn't know when he was doing it, and by the time I felt the pain he was already done, and then it was just a little sore for a day or so after (like when you bump your arm on something it's a little tender.) It's definatly not slutty, tons of people these days have it. It's adorable for the summer in a bathing suit, or when you go out to the mall or a dance or something to wear a shirt that shows it off, its great. I say go for it!

getting your belly-button pierced is NOT slutty. and yeah it does hurt but less than your cartilage. it'll pay off in the end, trust me! lOvE*lOvE

You shouldn't be called slutty if you get one. I heard you only feel a pinch and a push, it doesn't really hurt that much.

i want my bellybutton pierced too. my mom took my friends sister {sorry if thats confusing} to get hers done and i never heard about it hurting. the only thing is, she took it out and let the hole close up cuz it got infected. just get more information before you actually do it.

ooo cool, I have a belly button pierce. and when I got it, people didn't think i was slutty. they thought it was cool and attractive. you should definately get one.
it didnt really hurt, like maybe it was really painful for 2 seconds or so.. but it really wasn't a big deal. the whole process took less than half a minute, and ya..

Honestly, I don't have my belly button pieRced, but a couple of my fRiends do, and they told me that it didn't huRt them at all. Just a slight pinch and tingle, but no pain. And no one is going to call you "Slutty". Just because you have a belly button Right does NOT make you a "slut".. you know that.. I know that.. and eveRyone else knows that. Besides, don't woRRie about what EVERYONE ELSE will think; who caRes!! To hell with them!! Do whateveR makes YOU happie!! =D

I have mine peirced! It doesn't hurt bad at all, its just like a little pinch! Don't worry about people calling you slutty! Guys love it haha & if girls call you a slut for it then they are obviously just jealous!

Where did you hear that it would make you slutty if you ever got your belly button pierced? That's definitely not true. I've had my belly button pierced for almost a year and I'm not 'slutty'. If you show off your piercing constantly and wear shirts that are too short to reveal your piercing, then yes, people will think you're 'slutty'. As for the pain, it doesn't hurt at all, trust me.
