I'm closing my account after being on this site for longer than I can remember right now.

I would like to say thank you to all the columnists that I've met through this site, may your hearts of gold continue to shine through this site.

My reason is simple: I no longer feel I have a use for it anymore. I once was a person who couldn't help other people because of certain difficult situations in my past, but all that has now changed. This site allowed me to be who I really was and for that I'm so grateful for that. It played a very important role in my life and I'll never forget it!

The questions which I answered allowed me to reflect on my life and where it was going, and gave me the opportunity to really appreciate the life that I have, which I'm now living with open arms.

I wish you well for the future,
Triquetra....signing off for the last time.

I am 18 and have been with my wonderful significat other for two years. we've talked about our fairy tail marriage and our little house with a white picket fence.. all of that, anyway i know a lot of girls my age who are pregnant and only one of them is still with the guy who helped this situation :] anyway this is for the teenage mothers or soon to be's, how does it feel to have the baby in your stomach. how do you feel when you look at them every day knowing that they're a part of you? what's your story, how did you tell your parents, were they cool with it or was it a dramatic experience. i'm not looking to get pregnant but i do know i was a born mother :] and i will be very excited when the time comes. Okay, I may not be a teenage mother or girl, but I will say one thing: not all teenage mothers are happy, very few are. The number of questions on this site from girls in a panic because they think they're pregnant is phenomenal.

For some teenagers, it can be seen as a blessing and for others, a big mistake which they should never have been made in the first place. But there is one thing which ties them together: a dramatic change in that girl's entire life which could go either way: supportive way, or a torment to put it bluntly.

As for the parent's, they most likely will freak out because of the whole age thing and thinking that you're not ready yet etc.

*Just to be clear, I'm talking about teenagers under the age of 18 here*

As for teenager over 18, I'm sure that the parents would be slightly worried about you, and probably would remain that way. That's just how parents are.

Now, I noticed that you said that only one of the girls who you know is pregnant is still with their boyfriend, I can't help wondering as to why the others aren't still with their boyfriends. I suspect because they didn't want to get pregnant, because if they did, then they would still be with their boyfriends, wouldn't they? It would make sense, wouldn't it, to stay with the guy who got you pregnant in the first place?

I hope this helped,

thats really not what i was looking for. and they arent still together because maybe guys cheat when they find out they're going to be a father.. who knows? they're really immature? most cases of teenage motherhood is not planned, but a lot of the mothers would never change that either. i wanted to know how it feels being a single parent and what it felt like to have the baby move around in your belly my mom says its one of the most amazing things in the world knowing that a baby, a part of you, is moving around inside of you.
