What and where are some tips to becoming a better singer? I want to be better for the 8th grade advanced chorus and school starts soon. Please help me

Practice. As soon as you start singing with a group again your voice will start to sound better. I don't know if that makes sense. But the best advice i can give you is practice practice practice. Sing in the shower, sing while your driving (or being driven around), sing before you go to bed.
