ok i havent gotten my first period yet, and lately, like the past 2 days, my underwear have been really brown, like around the part my vagina touches. Its almost looks like, i pooped in my underwear, like that color(sorry lol), but I know thats not it becuase I clean "over there" very thoroughly. Is it discharge? Will i be getting my period soon? Should I start wearing pads? (and how do you properly put on pads becuase i tried and it didnt work) THanks so much. ♥
The reason you see brown, instead of red like you were probably expecting is because the blood inside you turns brown as it gets older. So, if it's been inside you for a while before actually coming out, then it will be brown.
This usually happens when you get your first period, and around the last day of your period.
