I am no longer giving advice on Advicenators, and have requested that my account be deleted.

I am now giving advice on Askville as ->Peter

If you're looking for good advice here, I suggest you ask YoungGrandma. She's the best.

I don't expect to be checking in on this site again, so if you want to ask me something, see you on Askville!

Good luck!

for english i need to type this thing up in cornell notes style. how do you do that on word procesor. to were one side the right side is bigger then the left? thanks so much. (link)
It's hard to answer, since you didn't say what word processing program you're using. That could make a big difference.

But there are probably a couple of ways to do it. One would be to create text boxes; a small one on the left and a larger one on the right. If you're using Microsoft Word, you'd do that from the Insert menu, specifically Insert Text Boxes. Then you'd simply click and drag to create the boxes.

The other way would be to set your document to have columns, and then set the left column to a narrower size and the right column to a wider size. In Word, you'd do that from the Format menu - Format Columns.
