My friends tell me I'm great at giving them advice (most of the time) and I like to have fun while I'm at it.
Not sure about something a decision? Need more insight? Have some questions about sex? You should feel free to ask me about anything at all. I check my email all the time and I'll try to respond as soon as possible!
advice
I don't know what to do anymore. My little brother thinks im pyscho. Today, my mom asked him to take out the trash and walked away. After she left he refused to do it and stated that I should do it because I never do anything. But, I had helped my mom ALL day with getting ready for this garage sale. So, I told him that he should do it because he was told to. He started screaming and freaking out on me. So after like a half hour of that I punched
him. I just can't take it anymore!!! That's the first time i've ever hit him, and I don't even feel bad about it. He's hit me louds so i guess that's why. I don't want to apologize, but how should I handle my anger from now on???
Your physical reflex to your anger is natural and does not mean you're going crazy. It seems you understand that you should have handled your anger better and hitting someone is never the resolution. It might seem like an answer to your problem by letting your brother have it but the repercussion of your action will be guilt and you'll have to deal with the new problems you've caused, eventually. The first step is (you guessed it) apologizing and explaining yourself. You'll feel morally conflicted since you feel that your action was justified because he has been crawling under your skin for awhile now. If it helps, let him know how tired you were after helping out the entire day and apologize about how angry you got when he made that comment. R
Remember, this is not justifying what you did wrong. Next time deal with your frustration a different way and start by talking about it.
