Hi ive been finding it really hard to sleep for the last few days, can anyone give me some advice on how i might be able to get a few hours at least of sleep thank you..
ill rate hight for good answers
Drink either some chamomile tea or some warm milk with honey and a little bit of cinnamon before you go to bed to relax you. You could also have a bath with lavender bubble bath or salts to relax you. Try not to eat, especially foods high in protein, before you go to bed - like 3 hours before.
When you do get into bed, don't panic that you can't fall asleep or think, 'damn, I HAVE to get to sleep!' because that will just keep you awake. Just lie down calmy and think about something, anything that doesn't get you angry or whatever, something calm, or listen to a calming CD or a radio station that plays slow, quiet songs at night, and you'll eventually drop off.
Also make sure that you're not too warm or cold, your bed clothes are clean (if you have any allergies you don't know about, then dust mites could be causing you problems) (but remember not to wash stuff in too strong a detergent because the smell will keep you awake), you're not thirsty, and your PJs or nightie or whatever is comfy.
Blessed Be,
