What Happens when you edit an answer?
Does the person get an alert or anything? If an answer to a question is edited- will the person ever find out?
I have recently edited a few questions, and i was wondering if there was a point or not.

The person will get an email saying that their question has been answered again.
Whether or not they think to scroll down and re-read your answer again is up to them. You could try making your edit more noticable, like, by putting "EDIT:" before you write it.
