Hi my name is Angel, that's my real name. I'm a young adult now, I've had this advice column for years, but I made another one under the name anq3l_xo when I thought I couldn't access this one. A little bit about myself. I am a student, both in college and high school. I work as a nanny part time. I want to be a lawyer when I "grow up." I believe I've done a lot of growing up in my short life. I have conquered an obsession over drugs and alcohol in the last year and a half. I'm sober now and I wouldn't trade that for the world. I'm happy now. I'm in an absolutely blessed relationship with someone that I truly care about and love with all of my heart. I have been through things that you kids have nightmares about. I have seen, heard, and witnessed a lot of things that would make full grown men cry. I believe that I am innocent now, because I don't live that old lifestyle anymore. I have a lot of experience in a lot of things, and I've always been good at shedding light on dark situations. I come from a broken family, so I have step, half whatever siblings, and I just recently reunited with my real mother after she abandoned me 10 years ago. I have amazing friends today, but it wasn't always like that. I have a wonderful boyfriend and a great relationship with him, but let me tell you, it wasn't always like that. My sister is a drug addict/ alcoholic of the worst type. She's my best friend in the entire world, and I hope this 14 year old girl doesn't have to go through what I went through. I've come to understand that I can't help her, but I can help others through advice and by being of service to people around me. Help! I don't know how to juggle having a boyfriend and having friends. I always want to spend time with my boyfriend and I end up hanging otu with him everyday but we will do things like go to the movies, watch a movie, go to a party, go to the beach, you know that kind of stuff. But when I'm out with a friend all we end up doing is driving around and I end up having no fun at all. What should I do when my boyfriend doesnt like my bestfriend because she lies alot and my bestfriend doesnt like my boyfriend because she thinks I'm always with him and takes it out on him. Does this make sense to you guys? If it doesn't I can clearify it. Please help I feel like I don't know how to have a boyfriend and a bestfriend at the same time :-( Oh ya im 18

if your bestfriend doesnt want you to spend as much time with your boyfriend, then tell him.. if your boyfriend doesnt want you to hang out with your bestfriend then tell her, because if you let them know what this is doing to you, im sure that they can work out some sorta compromise among the three of you that benefits everyone, if they cant then someone is doing something wrong, but its not you sweetie because it looks like you care about this, i hope i helped and good luck with this, I know its hard, but it'll all work out, give it time. -dr.anqel
