My mothers' doctor tells me anti-depressants (SSRI's like prozac) will reduced the effectiveness of the birth control pill. I'm not sure I can trust him, as he is very sexually conservative and doesn't beleive unmarried people should have sex. He always seems to be trying to scare me out of having sex. (I rather not go to him anymore, but there are very very few family doctors where I live.)

I know the normal issues and chances with the pill, but I can't seem to find any reasources online that deal with this specifically. Does anyone have any idea or personal experience?

Out of a personal experience I would just stay away from Anti-depressants. They are horrible for you, and doctors pass them out like candy. They fuck up your mind and the development of your brain. Birth control is bad for you too, but only if your on it for a long time. Sorry that wasn't really an answer to your question.

I like wearing sportbras because they are comfy ..can someone just wear a camisole with a built in bra ? when i wear bras with straps why do the straps pop off? i am always afraid it will snap off is there anything i can do to make sure they wont?? .. thanks

I dont know what your talking about with the popping off. But I do know that you can wear a camisole with a built in bra with out a bra (thats why one is built in). But if you wanted to wear one with a bra make it a push up bra and it will make your boobs look huge ok maybe not huge but pretty big. Oh yeah and try not to wear on a cold day.

This is my second time posting here on Advicenators. Well, I could really use some good advice here. I am 14 years old, never been kissed, hugged, dated..etc. I like older boys better because I know they tend to make the first moves and spoil you more, but I never thought I would end up like my best friends older brother. He's just two years older, not even. He's cute and he's funny, but he's really shallow. He's making me want to just die with the harsh things he says. Don't listen to him. Some guys are just fucking jerks. Just remember that you're not ugly, he is for saying that. Okay, I finally convinced my mom to start letting me wear tampons. But we're going in the afternoon to get them. (And Im on my period) But my dad wanted me to go down on his bike (motorcycle) to a couple places that are hours away, even in another state, and I have to wear pads. Last time I had an overflow. I'm afraid of that happening again. We're going in the morning at like 11:00am. So what can I do to prevent this? Is there anything I can do? And for another question, what about the tampons? Will they hurt, what if I forget about them,or if I can't understand the directions? Please help. Sorry this is so long. But i'll rate high for good answers. Thanks a lot.

You should just tell your dad that your on your period and that you'll have to stop every few hours to change your pad or tampon. It may seem like something you wouldn't want him to know but he will understand. Also if you don't feel like telling him have your mom do it.

has anyone here graduated early, or is trying to? see, last year i took a class most people in my grade didn't, and will take next year. so i'm already ahead in math for most people in my grade, so i don't have to double up. but i'm thinking of doubling up on a lot of stuff. i might take 2 maths next year as a freshman (geometry and algebra 2) and whatever i need to do to graduate early. so, how do i go about doing this? i'm really not sure. and if you have, how much earlier did you graduate? is it really hard?

the reason i want to graduate early is because i moved here a few years ago (from Florida to Maine) and I really really hate it here. I've tried to like it, and it didn't work. And while you're young, you're supposed to really enjoy it, and this is supposed to be the best time of my life, supposably. But it hasn't been since I moved here. So I just need to get out of here asap. Like, I'd rather go to high school back down in Florida, but my parents obviously aren't going to move back down there just because I want to, so I have to wait until I'm out of high school and everything, I guess. Yeah, help?

I did not graduate early, or graduate at all for that matter only because im 16. But I know a few people that did. They took summer school classes to get ahead such as taking geometry this year in school then take algebra 2 in summer school. They all graduated their junior year. And I don't know if it was hard, but I do know that you have to really want it because you don't really have time for friends or to do anything. I dont know if you need more information.
