Dakmor answered Monday August 15 2005, 11:53 am: Fruits and vegetables. Eat red meats. Beans and calcium. Lots of berries and melons and cucumbers, and if you happen to like them, broccoli, spinach, and brussel sprouts. No crap food like jelly beans and McDonald's. Eat steak and chicken, but not KFC or Shake n Bake. Beans are usually helpful. Breads, you should have what was it? 6-11 servings a day? And of course milk, yogurt, cheese, etc. But, of course, there's also excercise. Try jogging, lifting weights, biking, hiking, or track. Good luck! [ Dakmor's advice column | Ask Dakmor A Question ]

SHiNExSHiMMER answered Sunday August 14 2005, 9:35 am: Actually, you shouldn't just stick with one food. I know even though I don't- everyone SHOULD stick to the food pyramid. AT first you might gain weight, but it will work! Plus you'll have SO much more energy! [ SHiNExSHiMMER's advice column | Ask SHiNExSHiMMER A Question ]
Informant_Girl answered Saturday August 13 2005, 1:10 pm: Hmmm, there's really no clear-cut answer to this question, because most foods, if taken in moderation, are perfectly fine. That being said, consult a food pyramid (just Google it) to see the recommended daily servings for each food group. If you eat the minimal required servings for your activity style, you should be healthy and in perfect shape. That is, think about your activity level and eat the servings of each food group recommended for that (a moderately active person should eat about 3-4 servings of carbohydrates, for instance) and of course, don't forget to exercise. That's also key to keeping healthy - physically as well as psychologically.
Addendum: Like I said, you can eat just about anything, it all depends on the portions. Basic tips are, choose lean cuts of meat (white meat is better, so stick with chicken and fish) and eat lots of leafy green vegetables, like lettuce or spinach. VainTaraLynn answered Saturday August 13 2005, 2:49 am: There is no food that makes your body in "perfect shape" It depends on what kind of metabolism you have. Some people can eat certain foods and not gain a pound, others eat it and they gain 5. It all depends on your body makeup. Some good foods however are ones that are negative calories such as celery, brocoli, lettuce, and things of that nature. Stay away from starchy & salty foods. hopeihelped answered Saturday August 13 2005, 1:37 am: No food can make your body in perfect shape. Food isn't magic. Just eat a whole bunch of fruits and veggies and lay off of the snack foods. Exercise, that's the key.

azngemini answered Friday August 12 2005, 8:24 pm: definately yoplait yogurt light. you should also eat 3 servings of dairy products(like yogurt, milk, or whatever.. just not the fat ones like ice cream) everyday, and it helps you lose more weight then just by cutting calories alone. other good things to eat are like vegetables and fruits. you can try cutting square pieces of like honeydew, cantalopes, or add other fruits into a bowl with lettuce leaves on the side and dip the fruit in a small cup of yogurt. it's really good and very healthy too. smoothies are really good too, like the ones from Dannon Lite and Fit, and the new smoothies from Yoplait.
