Q: tomorrow night is the homecoming dance and i have no clue what to wear. they said girls should wear skirts and a blouse, so i wanna wear this mini black skirt with white polka dots with a plain black long sleeved shirt (its a nice shirt, not a crappy one) but its just a plain solid shirt. would that match? with like black sandals? or do i need a different shirt?

When i picture the outfit in my head, I dont see it working. I suggest wearing the skirt but having a white tank-top, tube-top, or regular white top with it. And you can wear black shoes with that.

Q: ok I know this has already been asked before and i know how annoying it is when people ask question 15,000 times but I couldnt find the quesiton anywhere so I have to resort to asking. how to get a pic in the upper left hand corner (where everyone has one) on ur advice column? thanks and sry this is a repeat!

Go to "profile settings" under where it says "Welcome _____!" then scroll down until you see "upload a picture of you" and click browse, pick a picture, and then click ok. Then click sumbit and check to see if it worked!

Q: ok my boyfriend will leave me messages and at the end of them hell tell me he loves me...and then when i call him back or watever or in person he wont say it....like i wrote i love u on his hand one day cuz we wer messin around and he just smiled....im so confused why wont he say it to me in person or on the fone but hell say it in messages?

Because hes too scared to say it in person, or on the phone. And its way easier to write it or send you messages saying I love you. Ask him why he wont say it on the phone or in person..hope i helped

Q: Ok this is about my Dad becoming a citizn. I want to know why it's so hard to become a citizen. I mean, my Dad has lived in this country for almost 30 years, if you talked to him on the phone you would have to clue he was from another country. He has OWNED more than one business, he pays taxes, he does everything he is supposed to do. (I know I am just venting about this and me just saying all this to yall is not going to make any difference to people that decide citizenship but still maybe someone can answer my qustion) So why is it so hard to become a citizen without like being married to a citizen. I heard that when i become 18 (in 2 years) I can so something to make his chancs higher in getting citizenship. Can anyone tell me why it's so hard, and can anyone also tell me what i can do when i turn 18! Thanks, and please only answer if you actually know what i'm talking about, and not to tell me that you don't know what i'm talking about.

Hey its not that hard to apply to become a citizen. Even though once you apply it takes 6-14 months to get papers and all. You need to go to a local immgiration office and ask about how it works and they give you a packet with information, who you need to call, etc. If you dont know where your local immigration office is, look in the yellow pages. Its not that hard to become a citizen, my whole family did it and it took about a year 1/2. it takes a while but its worth it. Why do you need to be 18 to help out your dad? just go with him to the immigration office and stuff. The reason why its hard to become a citizen is because it takes a while for the goverment to look at your application, because they get applications all the time. They then, have to do a background check on you. Make sure your not a criminal, terrorist, or anything. There is a lot of steps when trying to become a citizen thats why its so hard. But anyone can do it. I hope I helped and good luck.

Well I dont cut-but your not cutting yourself with a knife or sharp object. Its your fingernails, so I wouldent consider it cutting but its still bad.

Q: uhh..ok this is really dumb...Ok well a week ago I had a dream that I had sex with my teacher...he is like 48 or something and I'm in the 8th grade and now when I'm in his class day dream about it...I mean its gross because he is ...my teacher..but i dont want to tell my friend because they will think i'm crazy! what do i do and what does it mean?

Doesnt mean anything. You cant control your dreams. And the reason why you think about it during the day is because you thought about it in your dream and now you cant get it out of your head. Dont tell anyone about the dream, but dont worry its not your fault!

Q: I'm 15, female, and I've been BEST friends with about 11 people for a long time now. Last year we were together all through our first year of high school...and now there are so many things splitting us up. First...one of my guy friends, "M", has liked my best friend for two years now...aparently he didn't know that last year she was crazy for him...and now i was the one who told him she was...which makes him mad at everyone and jealous of my best friend because he thinks the reason she smokes pot and drinks is because of who she's dating and the older kids she hung out with over the summer. Another friend of mine has liked "M" for two years now and he's known it but doesn't like her. I kinda got her to like another guy who liked her back, and they were so cool for each other...but now she told him she didn't like him and didn't want to go out with him, and she told him in a way that really hurt bc she's never done anything like that b4...now their both miserable and the reason she said she didn't like him was because she liked "M" still even though she thought she was over him and didn't like him. Now she's crazy for M, M is crazy for my best friend, my best friend is dating an older guy who has no problem with her smoking and drinking, and I'm caught in the middle of all this! And now, my other friends think they can tell my best friend to stop smoking and drinking or not be a part of their lives...they are going to make this so miserable for them...my best friend is too proud to admit she was wrong and stop doing shit she shouldnt...I'm sorry this was so long, but I need to know if there is anything I can do to help them work this out or help them in any way, because what I've tried b4 isnt working at the moment...plz help me

I think you should stay out of it. Before, you got yourself into everything and look what happened. Let your friends deal with it on their own and support them and give them advice when they need it.

Q: im a 14f and ok there is this guy that i met over the summer, he was friends with my guy friends and i met him and i thought he was cute, i dont go for guys because of looks, i go by personalit, and lets say his name is joe.. well joe tells people he thinks im hot and then we talk a little bit and flirt and then like 2 days later my friend Marie calls me and is like hey joe wanted to know if he can call u ... and she mentioned he might ask me out, but i wasnt sure if i was ready to go out with him and i was like ill talk to him tomorrow at the park because everyone hangs out at the park so i decided yeah ill answer him tomorrow. the thing is that he only was gonna stay for like a month so pretty soon he'll be leaving so yeah next day he totally ignores me at the park and later on this girl Jessica is having a party which i didnt get invited to and i hear that everyone gets drunk and jessica gives joe a blow job ... then i talk to joe and hes like idk we were drunk and stuff and then me and him were back on the track until then another girl pops up and he ditches me again, then he tells all his friends, which are my friends too that he was talkin to me on the phone and he said how we were gonna hook up and he makes a bunch of bs up too them, so yeah then he leaves back to Michigan (where he is from) without even saying anything. i talk to some of my guy friends about him and they tell me how much of a player he is and stuff how he brags he likes to be a pimp and all this bullshit but yeah then i talk to him over the internet a lot and hes like so sweet and tells me all these nice things how he misses me and wishes we would of hooked up and how he shouldnt of been with jessica and stuff and he tells me hes gonna be coming in a month but he doesnt come and then next time im online he is like im coming in 10 days so then i get REALLLLY happy but he ends up not coming and now my friend was talking to one of her friends Mark, and finds out that MARk & joe are cousins. and mark is like i heard u hooked up wit my cousin, he says that to my cousin, and shes like ur cousin? hes like yeah joe, he told me u and some other girl and him went partying a lot ... and she finds out more stuff that he is going to come and visit soon and now i dont know what to do.. i've fallin for him and i dont wanna hear forget about him, i need actual advice, i mean i think about him 24/7 and its just getting me mad ... what do i do? thanks a lot! sorry that its long!

This is a hard situation. Joe IS a player, no doubt about that. He does all this stuff with girls, and then flirts with you and tries to be all sweet. He lives in Michigan, and he might come to visit? Well hooking up with him while hes in your town is not a good idea. Because one, he needs to go back to Michigan and the distance will hurt. And 2, since he's trying so hard to be a player, he'll probably hook up with other girls too. I'm not saying forget about him, but think about what he's doing. He hooks up with chicks, and then trys to be all sweet to you and you think hes the coolest guy ever. But thats his plan, he does that to all the girls he wants to hook up with. Then he leaves them. If you dont want to forget about him, dont. But think about what hes doing and how much he is hurting you. NO girl deserves to be treated this way-you deserve WAY better. Well some girls dont care about looks, and some girls want their man to be muscley and all. personally, I dont really care. I know a lot of big guys and they just look like huge teddy bears that i want to hug l0l! You just have to wait for the right person to come along that doesnt care about your height or weight. Q: Okay, school is really stressful, DUH!! But this year I've decided no more bad grades for me and I'm starting off fresh this year. I'm going to get good grades, thats my goal. it works to set times to do your homework. like after school, give yourself a hour to eat, rest, whatever. Then do your homework straight for one hour-a break for 15 minutes, and then finish your homework. No one has energy or excitement to do their homework, but just think..once its done..its done and you can have the rest of the day to yourself.

Change if you want to. If he doesnt like you then thats his problem. If he likes you now, and doesnt like you cuz you changed screw him. do what you want and im pretty sure other guys will like you.

Q: Does anyone know and site I could go to that shows some dance steps. Because I really wanna get some new dance steps for the upcoming dance on nov.4 and im tryn to get better at the moonwalk and that dance step where you jump up and you put your left foot heel in front and your right toe behind, then do the same except jump right foot heel and left foot toe. Know what I mean. It's and dance most kids do when their at a school dance. I also wanna know how to do the dance where like u slightly bend down , rite hand in front and left hand behind and you shake your hands or w/e. Maybe you should join a dance studio and sign up for some hip-hop classes so you can learn some stuff before the dance. I dont know any sites but you could search it under google.com

Q: Im a seventh grader and i need a new hair up do. Im kinda afraid what other people will think i mean like i wear phat farms, other people do to, but its because i want to. I know i shouldnt care, but im not really used to having it up. I did at the st patricks fair and i did in 5th grade, but i havent once this year and last year, but my friends reallie want me to and i said i will but i never do. yeah dump him, hes a jerk and if you stay with him he'll think to himself "Oh i can cheat again cuz she'll still be with me" dump him, and beat him up haha or at least dump him, do not stay with him you deserve better!

Q: how do you put someone into a mount, like what do you do. And what do the back and front spotters have to do?

Back spots support the flyer while going up in the stunt. Front spots do the same, but dont really do anything after that. They both are there if something goes wrong. I suggest asking a cheer coach around your area or going to a cheer gym about how do mounts and stuff. because its hard explaining on the internet.

Well in class, you could likd "bump" into him on "accident" haha and be like "Ohhh sorry, whats your name again?" and go from there. If you think hes intrested ask him if him and his friends wants to hang out sometime. it works! Good luck! and tell me how it goes if you have time :D!
