So why is he so concerned?
Hello, everybody. I'm sorry if this is a bit long. Just for info, I'm 24 and female, so I'm not a slut or anything for having sex. Anyway, my husband recently told me he used to pay prostitutes to have sex with him a few years back (he's five years older then me.) I was disgusted. Mu husband, who has pleasured me with oral sex and beyong NUMEROUS times, has had sex with several women who he barely knew. I need some advice on how to handle this. Is he going to still be fertile? I would forgive him for one. He just needed to get it off his chest. He is with you now and forever. You have to trust him or you don't have a relationship.
I would have both of you have test for STDS. You may have already done this knowing what we know now. As far as fertile, as long as he didn't catch anything that hurt him, he's probably just fine. Sometimes you just have to start trying.

Wow. What I would do is have him take an STD test and if you guys have had unprotected sex, I'd get one as well. I wouldn't worry about him being infertile, unless he has an STD that could cause that. I was reading some of the other answers.. the trust one was interesting. What brought this on and made him tell you?
I would think that since he told you, he's feeling bad about what he's done and is wanting your trust again. I hope that things go well for you. Please let me know what happens.

It is a little weird and being his wife and all can make you feel a little different toward your husband, but the past is the past, he is married to a wonderful person,and he isnt doing this thing anymore. Maybe in the past, he just couldnt find the one and finally met you and so his past became just the past. If you truly love your husband, you should look into his eyes and find that special spot in his eyes and know that the past is something that isnt proud and should be forgotten.And he should be still fertile! He can still make babys.Having sex with prostitutes does not affect him making babys and all. But I do suggest you and him being tested for std's and hiv and stuff because he has had sex with prositutes and prostitues do hundreds of people

More than likely yes, he will still be fertile. But honestly, have him checked out. Prostitues carry SO many diseases, just be on the safe side. Tell him that you think that's disgusting and let him know that you find it really gross. Talk to him about it. Ask him why he did it.
