Welcome to the junkdrawer that is my brain! I know something about many things, and I if I don't know it, I admit that I don't know. That I am constantly finding things I know nothing about and correcting that ignorance keeps me busy and happy. More junk for the drawer.

I love and have experience with many types of animals, including the human. I don't offend easy and I am generally cynical and a smart-butt. I love to drive, read, work on the computer and I spend WAY too much time watching Anime and bidding on ebay.

I just got my period again today (not the first time) But I have a wicked bad cramp. Like I came home from school because it was way too unbearable. Any ways on how to make it less painful other than take advil or w/e cuz i already did.

Midol and Pamperin are very good, but you can also use herbal products like rosehips and black cohash. Moist heat also feels good, but only use it twenty minutes at a time.

hi its me again okay i have a question well me and my boyfriend have been having sex and he says he can't have kids . well we have been having safe sex and i am not scared of it i am just wonderin can i get pregnant if he say's he ant have kids and he doesnt wear a condom when we have sex again?i mean should i trust him on him saying he cant have kids or should i ask someone like his sister? i just dont know if i should believe him and plz answer my question here it is again. YES. Even if he has had a vicestomey it is still possible for you to get pregnant. (In that case extremely rare, but it has happened.) Only if his balls are completely gone can you believe he's not capable of getting you pregnant.

I'm not too sure I can tell you anything to help, but here's my best shot. Is she shy around you or does she talk way too much? If so, yeah she likes you. Does she love you? No way to tell until you actually form a relationship with her. Most people date and hang out to get to know one another better and determine if attraction (like) is or can become something stronger. ok i had sex with a condom like at the beginning of april. im not susposed to start my period until the beginning of may. but every morning for like that past week my stomach has felt just a little bit upset in the morning and a little into the late afternoon. but my bobs dont hurt and im not throwing up and im not smelling anythign unusual. and i just got over having a really bad sinus cold. so should i be worried or not? please help me guys!!

The test don't cast too much. Take one and set your mind at ease. Sometimes (groos, but true) sinus drainage will go down the back of your throat during sleep. If you are clearing up from an infection it could be that you are feeling an upset stomach from that. But I would say take the test. It is possible to get pregnant using a condom wheather or not it breaks. Good luck!

I used to live with my brother but now i have to live with my other brother and he's constantly drinking and hitting me i don't know what to do if i go to the police then i'll end up in a home again and i don't want to go back to one of those places and if i run away then i'll end up on the street again and that's no good either, but i can't stay here it's getting harder and harder to deal with him and he keeps trying to rape me what can i do?

You have a choice between two evils. Your brother or a home. I wish I had a better answer for you. At least in a home you have a chance. Eventually your brother will lose control and your luck will run out. Is there possibly another relitive you can ask to take you in? They will need to go through the court system to do it, and you'll spend time in a home while the battle is being faught. Try calling some of the abuse hotlines and runaway hotline to see if they have any other options that you can work with. I wish I could give you a better answer, but this is all I know to do. Ok there's this grl at skewl and i HATE her so0o0o much. Well our Principal called us both down to the office once to talk to us...he asked us if we had ever gotten along and she said "Well at one point we were good friends" I was like WTF!?!? The only reason for a person to be mean to you in front of other people (thier friends) is to get a reaction out of you that will make them feel in control and better than you. Regardless of what she says, it's all for show to make her look better. Ignore her, or just walk away. She's not worth your time and effort so treat her that way. Look at her like she's a clump of shit on your shoe if you look at her at all. Be polite if she is, but don't give her the time of day if she's not. Don't play her game. I know it's frustrating, but she really isn't worth bothering yourself over. Good luck!

Hello, I have recieved several threatening letters over the past year from my father. The threats include having me put in hospital, also stating that he has had a curse put on my daughter and myself to ensure that something bad happens to us, and general insults and abuse aimed at my wife daughter and myself. We have really had enough of this, is there anything I can do and should I go to the police ? I am convinced that he is going to pay someone to come and do physical harm to my family or myself. He is quite old and in a poor state of health, but is and has always been a very brutal person having caused misery and suffering over many years mainly to his wife and children. All I have done to promt these letters is to write to him listing his bad deeds over the years and telling him what I thaught of his behaviour, this was without any aimed insults from me. My letter to him was in response to further bad behavior on his part.

A restraining order wouldn't be a bad idea, but it's only a piece of paper. You could also use those letters as a basis for finding him mentally incompetent. You are his son and have more power over him than you may think. Your father sounds unbalanced and vindictive. See a lawyer about having him committed. From what you've said it sound to me as though you can make a strong case against him. Luck and health!

i have a friend and she cuts, does drugs, drinks everything you can think of that's bad she does it or has done it and i'm really worried about her she does it because her dad beats her and she doesn't really like to talk about her problems it's so hard for me to get her to talk to me she said i'm the only person she trusts and she doesn't want me to worry about her but i do. she says she doesn't need help and she's fine but sometimes it's so bad that she flinches when someone barely touches her or when she laughs and i've had to talk to her out of killing herself over 5 times. i really don't know what to do anymore how can i help her?

I've never been in a situtation like yours, and I pray I never am. The only thing I can think that might help your friend is to report her father to the local Department of Human Resources for your county or state. This is not a perfect solution. The agency is poorly equipped and there are so many ways young people can fall through the cracks. I wish I could give you a way to help her that I'm sure will work, but I don't know a way to do that. She needs out of her fathers house and into some MAJOR counceling program with others she can relate to. I know you love your friend and that this is very hard for you, but things are going to get worse even if DHR removes her and prosecutes her father for abuse. She will end up in foster care or with relatives. Either way she will most likely not be going to your school anymore. I wish you the best and pray you can help your friend. Think about it this way, sweetheart. If he can't respect your wishes and desires now before marriage, what kind of asshole will he turn into once you marry him? This is just the starting point. If you can't put your foot down on something this important to you and have him respect it, this man will break your spirit in a marriage. He will know he has full power over you and the marriage will not be the partnership of respect and trust you want. You will come to resent him more each day and your lives together will be miserable within 4 years. This may sound melodramatic, but it is the simple truth. That is called date rape. You will need couceling and to make chioces on what actions you want to take against this guy. No is no, but date rape is very hard to convict on because you have so much guilt thinking you are to blame. A guy CAN control himself. A week ago today, I accidently poked myself in the eye with mascara in the morning. Since then, the bit which I poked has been red and blood shot. My Mum said it was like a bruise and would probably go soon but it's been a week now and it seems to be getting worse. What is wrong with it? What should I do?

You have burst some minor blood capillaries in your eye. This is generally no big deal and will heal on its own, although it takes a long time. My sister has this happen without an accident once or twice a year. If it continues to get worse, do see a doctor, but I think you should start getting better soon.

My friends and I are trying to get this one boy from my classical music class to start to appreciate rock music and rap music, pop music etc. He isn't responding to most of it and is giving answers to rap music like, "You don't know what he's saying!!" Is there an easy way to introduce him to this type of music?

I've always adored classical music. But I love may other types of music too. The only way he'll come to appriciate a new kind of is if he wants to spend the time to emerce himself in it. If he takes the same kind of care listening to a new type of music that he does classical, he will find something he likes. He won't like everything, and I personally have TRIED to like mainstream country for my parents' sake and still hate it, and lite jazz (ugg). Tell him he needs to learn to separate the layers of the music he is listing to the same way he would a classical piece. Just half listening will accomplish nothing. The surface of music is not where he will find the things he needs to develop a true opinion. I can think of no better way to explain it, but maybe he'll understand.

I have a friend that has been drinking and stuff. I've told her not to but i know she doesn't care. And now everybody is all like yeah i drink a lot and i've gotten drunk and smoked that. It seems like everybody smokes and drinks! it's crazy we're all still young! Here's the thing. Your friends KNOW they shouldn't do drugs or drink. You don't need to tell them anything. They know and do it anyway, you'll just come off as a prude. However, not everyone does drugs and drinks. It's a matter of personal choice. You make good choices, they make bad choices. You can't protect your friends from the concequences, but you can prevent yourself from following them. I've been lucky in my life that the friends I've had that do drugs and drink too much have always respected my choice not to do either. People that try to push you into something you feel will be harmful and don't want to do are not your friends. You are right that this is a big deal. Yes, it could be. However, I don't think that's what's wrong. You need to see a gynocologyst to be sure, but sounds most likely that you have something called Fibrocystic disorder, though my gyno said it's so common the disorder is usually dropped. That is basically a cyst or pimple deep under the skin that can harden. They are not dangerous and can be removed with minor surgery (if hardened) or something called aspiration (draining the fluid, like popping a pimple). With your age you will more than likely not need a mamogram. They generally use ultra sound to test a young woman who has not had children. It's a little cold and embarassing, but it doesn't hurt at all. Make an appointment asap just to ease your mind. I'm sure it will be fine. Let me know.

I think a French roll would look nice. They are simple, but elegant and can be arrangeded to comensate for your cap without screwing up the effect.

You may be sensitive to your clothes detergent and/or your hygiene products. Try using a dye and scent free detergent on your underware and plain Ivory soap to wash where you have the pimples. I'll bet your problem will improve dramatically. (It doesn't matter if you have used the same products for a long time, your body is changing and the way it reacts to things including chemicals is changing too.) Try this for a month before giving up on it.

My eyelashes are really long meaning i cant wear Mascara becuase it makes them look even longer and weird. is there any mascara i can buy (that they sell in England) that will be ok for long eyelashes and wont make them look really long? thanks

Use petroleum jelly (Vasaline). It will make your lashes shiny and call attention to them, but will not lengthen or make them look thicker. Just apply it with a lash brush.

do magazine subscriptions and all of those things go on your credit report? if you dont pay a magazine subscription, does that go towards your credit and make your credit bad or is it only things such as car payments and what not?

Yes. Any debt can be reported to the agencies after 30 days. You have the right to contest it though.
