I'm a 16 year old girl. Lately I have been really distant and detached from everything, and I don't know what makes this attractive or if the moons are aligned or what, but all of the sudden I'm getting all of this attention from guys at school. Any other time I'd be thrilled to death, but right now I'm just kinda like, "Eh." The guys that have professed their feelings, indirectly or through my friends, are great as friends, but I'm just not interested in them in a romantic way. A month ago I'd even be happy to go out on a date with whomever, but now I want to be boyfriend-less and have a good time hanging with my friends and concentrating on school.
The one guy I do have a little bit of interest in is currently into someone else.
How do I turn these guys down without hurting their feelings or making an awkward situation? I still want to hang around with them with my friends, just not in one-on-one sessions.

You need to tell them (calmly) that you just would rather remain friends with them. That you have interest in another man. That way they know what you're feeling and lay low for a while.

ok well I have known this kid for about 2 years right. and we would date off and on. and this year I started dating him again and I introduced him to my bestfriend because I wanted them to know each other but I didn't want them to start liking each other.ok well my friend came up with the idea that both of us would date him at the same time. and I love my friend to death and i would do anything for her even this so I was like I guess. so after like 2 days I was like to my friend if you like him that much you can just go out with him I odn't like him anymore hes all yours. but I relaly didn't mean it so now the go out but I wanna tell her how I really feel what should I do? First of all, doesn't that bug you that technically your boyfriend is cheating on both of you two for eachother? That's a no-no in relationships. Tell your friend that that he was your boyfriend to begin with and that if she really is a good friend she will lay off. But then if your boyfriend DOES like your friend more, then dump him. There are better men out there for you that will treat you how you should be treated.

I'm studying up on telepathy and telekinesis. I know this is highly doubtful, but does anybody know anything about these subjects? I know what they are and they ARENT psyhic situations. They are simply part pf physical reality, although you don't touch while performing telekinesis. I just want to know...has anybody ever witnessed these phenomenons or do any of you know of...or experienced anything such as this. I want to learn how to do this myself...somebody please help if you can. I believe in both telekinesis and telepathy for I have performed both myself on certain (anger, nervousness, etc.). It takes a while to learn, anywhere from a month to several years. It depends on how well you can focus. Try this site for more information..

Explain to her that he is your boyfriend, and not hers. Ask her to respect that because she is your best friend. Tell her that if she keeps trying to "steal" him away, that that will jeopardize your friendship with her.

well i used to live with my step mom. she was very abusive in many ways (ie) telling me i was worthless, throwing things at me, forgeting about me all kinds of thing she once made me stand in a corner from sunrise to sunset for 6 days straight but im getting off topic...im now no longer living there i was able to move in with my father who i realized that i wanted to live with after i could see through all the brainwashing done by my mother.... now its been a few months since i last saw her let alone talk to her...yet after all of the pains she has caused me i keep trying to reachout and make contact with her. i called her to wish her a happy new year and merry christmas and she never called me back to even say hi. yet im still filled with a conpulsion to call her once more and try all over agian. each time i do this im thrown into a depression that is hard to get out of. should i keep trying to reach out or should i go about it another way. please help

If your mother was very abusive to you, then why bother with her? She doesn't deserve you as her son/daughter. Your intentions are good, but if she doesn't care for you, then why try talking to her at all?

I like a guy(GUY 1), I don't know if he likes me. I think he does but I'm not sure. I'm 16 he's 18. We work together. We're friends.
So far it's relatively bog standard dilemma.
However...
I just had a mess up with one of the other guys(GUY 2) at work (he liked me, I don't like him but he thought I did). Guy 1 suggested that we pretend to be dating to basically piss of GUY 2( what the hell is that suggesting). Without thinking, I agreed.

Guy1 doesn't want Guy2 making a move on you, that's why he did that. Just tell Guy2 that you judt want to be friends or something and that you don't like him at all, that way things are cleared up.

I have come to a conclusion.
My conclusion is: I am physically incapable of paying attention in algebra. I'm dead serious. I look DIRECTLY at the teacher, follow along in the book EXACTLY, and block out the sounds of Rick and Betsy ENTIRELY but I just CANNOT take in a word she says! When I was in regular math, I got all C's. Then I was moved to PreAlgebra and got 98's for a whole year. Now I'm in stinking algebra and starting to get C's again.
Have you ever been in a room with two people speaking a completely forigen language? You can listen and hear everyword, but it doesn't process in your brain. Welcome to math class. Another reason may be because I have it first class (8:00-9:45am) and the 13-year-old brain doesn't start fully functioning untill about 10. I'm just ALWAYS thinking about something else, usually my boyfriend, but sometime's I'll just read through class and then fail all the tests and homework. How can I get this into my brain??(sorry this was long)

My friend is always telling me how great it is to have her own car, she is saying things like, 'he really got it on in the back seat!' Well, the other day I got into the backseat but I couldn't find the ignition. Now, I'm only sixteen and she is seventeen, so is it something you learn in senior year? When I asked her that she said that it is something you learn on the street, well, how do you get the car to get it on in the back seat?

Ok, in health class, eighth grade, we have to learn a lot about the human body and what is good and what is not so good food to eat and stuff like that. Well, anyways, we were talking and there is this one pregnant girl in class, I asked her how she got pregnant and she laughed and said, "ask Joe" That was about a week ago, but I am scared to ask my health teacher because it seems as if everyone knows but, how do you get pregnant and is it true that when you have a baby it comes out as an egg then hatches?

Wow.. oh wow.. humans hatch from eggs? You must have heard horribly horribly wrong. Okay, let's try to explain this in a simple way. Men have sperm within their genital areas. Women have eggs within theirs, but not eggs like chicken eggs! These eggs are TINY. When a man ejaculates into a woman's vagina, thousands of sperm cells are released into the woman. Once one comes in contact with the egg, the egg becomes fertilized and becomes 1 cell. That cell continues dividing continuously until a full baby is created, 9 months later. After about 9 months, the woman gives birth to the baby. So we can say it like this.. Women don't lay eggs, they just lay babies! (haha!) The only mammals to lay eggs are platypi and echidnas.

He seems pretty interested in you! :) Maybe he does like you, confront him about it. Somehow bring up the topic of homosexuality and ask him his outlook on it. If he approves of it, tell him you are homosexual and he probably will tell you the same if he is. :)

I work for a junior high school and there are plenty of good looking kids in the school. I am only 23 so I don't think it is wrong to like these students, not that any physical atraction would take place. But, there was one time, last week, were the most popular person in my Language arts third period class fingered and physically touched me! I was actually turned on! So, I told him to meet me at my house TOMOROW! I feel like I owe him either an appology... or a thanks. (if you know what I mean!)
