i'm going to gr10 next year and we gotta pick subjects to take. which one should i take? french or spanish? i live in canada so i guess french would be useful.. but i SUCK at french and i've never taken spanish before so they're going to start from like.. the stuff they teach you on dora the explorer so i guess i'll be okay in spanish.. but i don't know which one i should pick.. people say french is more useful but i guess i should get more people's opinions before i make my final choice. please help =) (link)

It depends on where you plan on living really. If you don't plan to move out of Canada, I would recomend french. If you plan on moving south of Kansas spanish is the way to go.

i am really pale. i'm 15 and i can't drive yet, so i can't drive myself over to the tanning places, and my mom never wants me to tan. i've tried the mystic tan stuff before but it looks too orange on me. is there any kind of products that will make me look like i have a natural tan and that actually work? My grandpa died about one year ago, and the only time I cried about it is when i recieved the news on the phone. Not even at the funeral/wake..=\. But it's sort of hard to believe that I didn't because I used to have a diary and i wrote about how close i was to him and how much i loved him and such. Now for the past few days, all I have been doing is crying about him because I miss him so much. I mean i can't even watch certain shows on tv anymore because we used to watch them together, and songs that sing about relationships make me cry. My question is, why am i just starting to miss him and crying now? What should I do? This is the first time i've cried about him being gone.

Can you spell mormon correctly? aren't has an "e" in it. A lot of mormon based commentary stems from a lack of knowledge about said religion. Just ignore the ignorance. People are ignorant of Islam and Buddhism too, but you don't hear them complaining.

Ok well I just gauged my ears, theyre 18s I guess? That is what the person said. So I was wondering what that meant? I don't understand the differnce. And also, why are they so small?! Normally they are huge and when I told the guy I wanted to gauge my ears he gave me these. Somebody help I am really confused.

18 gauge is a fairly small. The smaller the number the bigger the ring actually is, so 14 gauge would be larger than 18 gauge. You want to gradually work up to a larger gauge so your skin has time to expand to fit the new ones.

Now for the answer: Self esteem for the most part is a bunch of new age bull crap that has been forced down all of the current generations throats to take away the reality of the world. People think your friend is hot, so what? Are you so shallow that you have to have the approval of others to be happy? If you have to "feel good" about yourself, think about what makes people want to be around you. That's what true self confidence comes from.

I suppose if you scooped it up and shoved it into yourself it could happen. And it would have to be really fresh, like he just left the room and you ran in and rubbed yourself on said surface. The whole scenario actually working is fairly impossible though so don't worry.

My bf and I have been together for a long time, but we've never had sex yet. I feel that I'm ready now and have already gone and bought some really sexy pink lacy panties and a matching bra. I have a new bed that I decorated with pink throw pillows. I want this to be a night to remember. This is what I had in mind: I was going to decorate my whole appartment with scented pink candles, and throw rose petals on the bed. Buy and etude book and just read through it. When you run out, turn it upside down and read it that way. It seriously makes you so much better. The best thing you can do is practice.

Christians believe that God created the dinosaurs just like all the other creatures on the earth. I suppose that like all the other creatures, they lived in what habitat suited them best. And the original hebrew word used to describe the "days" of creation are very specific. They literally translate to "the rising and setting of the sun" which is a 24 hour period of time. Evolution and the bible cannot coexist because the bible says that when God created the world "it was good" And in order to be "good" in God's eyes it had to have been perfect. The world was without sin and death and without death there could not have been any ecolution. It's sad, but alot of christians tend to focus on the New Testament and even then they just focus on the part that makes them feel good about themselves. Hope this helps.

Since mostly everyone who answered chose to try and make you feel better about yourself and not tell you what people actually say, I will not insult you by doing the same. The disdain that you experience is born largely out of a lack of understanding about Islam and middle eastern culture. Islam is growing but is still not a "mainstream" thing here and until it becomes one, there will not be understanding. Most of America thinks that Muslims are just a bunch of desert dwelling suicide bombers who hate us when in reality that is only a very small percentage of actual Muslims. I have no problems with Muslims in general, but there are some that do horrible things in the name of Islam. Every religion has its fanatics. The best thing you can do is to prove that you don't fall under the stereotypes. Show the world that you're not what everyone believes you to be, then tell it to piss off.

I have a 2 GB Nano Ipod, and I've been uploading music from CDs onto it. My problem is, that I only have about 49 songs on it and it's almost full! Why is this? Also, if you upload a song from a CD, does it take up more space than a song you upload from, say, Itunes? Thanks! (link)

you can rip tracks from the cd in mp3 format, its under preferences in the edit menu. The reason youre almost out of space is because you got a nano instead of the 30 gig for 100 bucks more. Anyone else who is reading this don't buy the nano it is to small to actually be of any use and will get left in your pocket and washed then the people and Macintosh will laugh when you try to return it.

I personally don't go for blondes. Other hair colors just look better when the light hits them just so. The bleaching thing is kinda dumb but I guess it works for some people.
