Hi, I'm Lorelei. I live with my mother, my older sister and my grandmother.
I travel a lot but I'm never a tourist. ;) My mother owns property all over the country and I'm extremely lucky to feel at home in so many different places. It's a lot of fun and I get to see a lot of things and meet a lot of people.
Shopping always seems to be better away from home too.
I'm very fashion-minded and stylish, spontaneous and energetic, dorky and giggly. I enjoy having a good time. Almost too much. I party every chance I get. I do drink but I do so responsibly and you should too.
I'm very young but the year 2003 caused me to learn more about who I am than some people get to learn about themselves in an entire lifetime. Ever since I've made it a point to share what I've learned with everyone possible. Ask and I'll do my best to answer.

There really isn't a way to get rid of them without using some sort of product. There are tons of inexpensive lotions that'll help minimize them. I suggest using something with Cocoa butter in it.

okay. i'm a girl and i have hair on my....breast area, and i was wondering if there was anything i can do about it. plz help!!

I wouldn't suggest touching it at all. Your breasts are a very sensitive area. If it's in your cleavage, you could consider using a gentle depilatory (like epil-stop roll-on) but hair on your actual breasts is best left alone. It's perfectly normal and trust me, no one but you knows it's there.

Okay for one i think your a really good advice columnist and keep up the good work! My name is pinklemonadestand and i have a question for you...

My ex boyfriend and i broke up because him and i had nothing in common and so i broke up with him after going out for eight months! I am with my new boyfriend right now and i like him ALOT! Well two days ago i was at my ex boyfriend's house (his name is Sean and my boyfriend's name is Billy) well i was with Sean and we were talking well then he grab me and we kissed and then 10 minutes later we were still kissing. I don't know if i should tell Billy about this or not! I don't want to lost him but then again i think i still like my ex. What i do?

As far as your question, it is 100% natural to still feel connected to an ex-boyfriend. Especially since you guys were dating for so long. Don't feel too bad that you might still like him.

It isn't so great, though that you let yourself kiss him for 10 minutes. I always think it's best to be 100% honest in a relationship. Would you rather Billy find about it from your or potentially from someone else who may exaggerate?

First step is to talk to Sean. Tell him that you've moved on and you don't think it's right that he advance on you that way. Tell him you still want to be friends, though. If you think you still like him, continuing a friendship will give you guys a chance to sort of get to know each other again and, if the occasion were to arise, maybe get back together.

Now, if this kiss was a one time thing, and Sean initiated the whole thing, hopefully Billy would understand. If you think he won't, you could maybe get away with not telling him, but I'd definitely do my best to remain totally loyal to him.

i jus moved to another skool and ive been there for like three weeks and everyone seems nice...but thats not the problem...all of my friends from my old skool seem to always seemed to b pissed at me!!it kinda seems like there happy that i moved! i tryed to talk to them and they all r sayin that ive changed big time scence i moved...i dont think i did!i really want to keep my friends but they seem to not wanna keep me ...HELP!!!

Sometimes, people will feel threatened when someone they see as a peer moving on to bigger and better things.

Try asking them why they think you've changed. Talk about it. Try not to be too defensive, because people really feed on that. If you don't think they're being fair, say so. Because, to me anyway, they aren't being fair to you.

Stand your ground and keep your head high. If they don't want to let up or if they really think you've changed so much, maybe you guys just don't need to be friends anymore.

Okay, first let me say I'm going to be 17 in a week.
I've been friends with this one girl for the majority of both our lives. We used to go trick or treating every year, and she's going to want to go again this year, whereas I feel I'm too old, and I don't want to go. I know I need to tell her I don't want to go and not just make excuses, but something in me doesn't think she'll understand that I just don't want to walk around in a costume, yelling "TRICK OR TREAT" for candy.
I mean, I LOVE sugar. Seriously, I do - but I'm sick of trick or treating. How do I tell her I don't want to do this without hurting her feelings? 'Cause I know it's gonna bother her. Our friendship is sort of dwindling...sucks, but true. She's 17 too, by the way. Thanks in advance for the help.

You could try suggesting a party rather than trick-or-treating? She sounds like a good friend and I'm sure she'll understand and want to compromise. Or if she wants to really go, maybe you could go along with her for a while and then switch it up and head to a costume party or something.

Another idea would be to just head off to the store, buy tons of candy (it's SO cheap this time of year) and pig out in front of a good movie. You could put on a CD you both like afterwards and work off the sugar!

The gist of what I'm saying is - try to compromise but make it evident that you feel like you're growing out of trick-or-treating. Be honest with her. She'll understand.

What would be the best way to curl your hair, but in a soft way. Like, not homecoming-fancy type curls but everyday almost wavy-like curls? Because I've tried the 'put your hair in buns' thing & it doesn't work for me & a curling iron takes too long. Do you think I should invest in some hot-rollers or no?

In your case, hot rollers seem to be the way to go. You let them curl while you're doing your makeup, brushing your teeth, or having breakfast...they're a great way to curl your hair. In fact, I use Revlon Instant Heat rollers. They heat up in only about a minute or two. They're awesome. :)

how do you clear an entire memory stick on most digital cameras? how can i get to it? i have a Sony Cyber Shot (if that matters)

I have a Cybershot too and I have to turn the little flippy thing to Set Up (lol), go to the memory stick tool menu and go to format, and then hit OK.

I want to get my tragus pierced.But I have heard that they are finding that piercing the tragus part of your ear could be harmful.Any knowledge of how true this is?Also personal experiences would be helpful too.

If it were harmful, it wouldn't be so widely performed. If you're really worried, checkout bmezine.com or talk to a professional piercing artist about the risks involved. But, honestly, you don't see anymore of a risk with a tragus than you do with any other piercing.

ok so i think i have problems... i mean i like going out with people but the relationship i am in now is freaking me out kinda... i think i love my bf of a month and a half... i kno it doesnt sound very long but we've gone out before... but anyways... i really think i love him... but i have this problem where i go out with a guy umtil i think that he really likes me and then i just kinda loose interest... thats kinda what is happening in this relationship... but i still kno i have feelings about him... like i feel like i love him... but im starting to lose interest... waht can i do to fix this... i dont want to stop loving him... especially since it would break his heart... You're young. You want to date a few people before you find someone you truly love and want to settle down with.

Please don't be upset by this, but odds are, what you're feeling isn't love. You wouldn't "lose interest" in someone you really loved.

I think a good idea would be to sit down with a piece of paper and a pen and list all of the things you like about him, and all of the things that bother you. Be completely honest to yourself, too. One of the worst things you can do is lie to yourself.

Once you've finished your list, weigh the pros and cons to decide whether or not you want to continue the relationship.

Just don't immediately jump to the 'L' word. Along with love comes a sense of obligation that, at 14, you're really not ready for.

well, i know its strange, but sometimes i wonder if my parents were virgins before they got married. because they both married late in there lives )38 39ish) so i kind of wonder. is this strange to think? i mean im not going to go up to my mom one day and say hey mom how are ya doing? so btw were you a virgin before dad?

I don't think there's anything wrong with asking them. It's a pretty valid question. They're your parents and part of their job as such is to discuss these things with you.
Especially since it almost seems as though you question the practice of "no sex before marriage". Trust me, parents usually eat up questions like this. So just get one of them (or both of them) alone and just ask!

I always look too young. I'm a junior and everyone around me looks like they're a junior- but I could be confused with a freshman! I have brown never died hair thats like 6 inches longer than my shoulder with bangs that sweep to the side kinda across my eye. Any suggestions on hair? also, I have brown eyes so if u know ne ways to do my make up that'd be great too! I need to look older! Oh and- how can i dress to look older? Thanks so much! I RATE!

Believe me, there isn't an upside to looking older than you are. There's nothing wrong with looking your age. It isn't that you look young, it's just that girls look so much older these days. Everyone wears makeup and dyes their hair and dresses maturely...
You may just be coming into your own style, which does take time. Don't be in a rush. People can tap in when you're obviously trying too hard.

If you want some quick hints to maybe "age it up" a little, you could try a haircut and some highlights. Since your hair is kind of long, I'd go for the smooth, sleek look and maybe razor cutting your bangs. Try looking at a few magazines and talking to the stylist at your hair salon/cuttery.

Dressing to look older is essentially useless. Stick to your own personal style. You could check out some stores like Charlotte Russe, Forever 21 or a department store to pick up some fashionable junior sized clothing. But it's all about how you carry yourself in those clothes. Keep your head up, your shoulders back and tell the world that you like what you're wearing or how you look.

Actually, I'm going to be a drag queen for halloween. haha. I'm a woman pretending to be a man pretending to be a woman. :)

Do you have any ideas how I could do my hair for homecoming?

An updo is always trusty for dances. For a homecoming it might be a bit too formal though, so I might suggest leaving your hair down and adding some soft curls. Don't use a lot of hairspray or hair accessories. Maybe one or two to accent the color in your dress.
