Too young looking!!!
I always look too young. I'm a junior and everyone around me looks like they're a junior- but I could be confused with a freshman! I have brown never died hair thats like 6 inches longer than my shoulder with bangs that sweep to the side kinda across my eye. Any suggestions on hair? also, I have brown eyes so if u know ne ways to do my make up that'd be great too! I need to look older! Oh and- how can i dress to look older? Thanks so much! I RATE!

Believe me, there isn't an upside to looking older than you are. There's nothing wrong with looking your age. It isn't that you look young, it's just that girls look so much older these days. Everyone wears makeup and dyes their hair and dresses maturely...
You may just be coming into your own style, which does take time. Don't be in a rush. People can tap in when you're obviously trying too hard.
If you want some quick hints to maybe "age it up" a little, you could try a haircut and some highlights. Since your hair is kind of long, I'd go for the smooth, sleek look and maybe razor cutting your bangs. Try looking at a few magazines and talking to the stylist at your hair salon/cuttery.
Dressing to look older is essentially useless. Stick to your own personal style. You could check out some stores like Charlotte Russe, Forever 21 or a department store to pick up some fashionable junior sized clothing. But it's all about how you carry yourself in those clothes. Keep your head up, your shoulders back and tell the world that you like what you're wearing or how you look.

well maybe get highlights in your hair and get it cut a few inches. I have brown eyes too. just put black eyeliner under your eyes (NOT under your botton lash)And maybe a little bit on the top.

I have the same problem, (I look way younger than I am) You might want to grow out your bangs (I know that takes a little while) and dye your hair a darker brown with either a reddish tint or red highlights. (or, depending on your complexion you might wanna go blonde with highlights) You should cut your hair shorter (about 2-3 inches) and get it layered. (maybe even have a perm in it to make it wavy or curly).
You should try shopping at places like Express, they have really cute clothes that makes you look older.
For make up try a lil black mascara and black eyeliner (not to much) and make sure all the colors you use look good on your face because that can make you look like a 10 year old playing with her mothers make-up. Hope I helped =)

Hey. Why do you want to look older? You seem beautiful? I look younger then I am. Your hair I would get rid of the bangs like grow them out or push them back and wear your hair up alot and for make up really light colors and clothes jeans and cute tops. Don't worry about LOOKING a certain age. It's more about how you act, and talk. I'm in 10th grade, and I've had people ask me if I'm 12 and people ask me what collage I go to!
About actually changing your looks....well, I suppose makeup works, but I think it makes you look kinda fake, depending on how well it's applied and how much and what colors are used. Hair, just don't put it in braids, it makes you look about 3-4 years younger. Try braiding it, then twisting it up in a bun, you might need either some sort of hair sticks (of course, my friend uses pens to do her hair rather like this so....) or bobby pins to hold the braid in place, and a binder to put around it after it's all wrapped up. Also, let your bangs grow would be another thing. (If you let your hair get long and don't like it, cut it. If you cut it short and don't like it....well, too bad, can't undo that one :-) )

hey, think if it this way, you might hate looking young now, but when you are in your twenties and thirties and your friends are complaining about how old they look, they will be jealous of how long you look!

Seeing that the new thing is like short hair, like nobody has long hair anymore, I have never seen a single person in my school that has long hair, unless its curly, get it cut, like a little above your shoulders and let your bangs grow out, don't cut them at all. You can buy a curling iron, and flip the bottom out and maybe get like light blonde streaks. Seems to work pretty well. And for makeup use like a black eyeliner and don't do a line too thick, make it pretty thin. Also, use a light blush and an eyeshadow that compliments with whatever you're wearing. And to dress to look older, don't wear like the normal t-shirt and jeans to school, dress nicely. Wear like a nice pair of jeans and a sweater or a knee length skirt with a cute shirt. Always works for me.

hi well....hmmm bangs usually make u look "young and innocent" so u got to lose them...grow them out...hmmm also...bout make up dont put a lot of it...b/c usually guys dont like a gurl wit lot of make up...just put a lil to look more natural then fake :)
also dressin up...hmmm to look older wear something sexy...u kno a sexy top...b a lil exotic but not that much..;) just a lil show a lil not 2 much :) hmmm wearing something tihgt to show ur curves :) its always nice...i hope i helped....xoxo effy

K well u shud grow out ur bangs or use them in a way that u see in people magazine and stuff. Wear a glossy pink lipstick and blush. Use dark eyeliner and mascara. Wear a little bit og black or brown or sum darker color eye shadow. Good luck!
