No, there's nothing wrong with you for still liking the guy even after he cheated on you. It'll take some time, but you will eventually get over him. I reccomend spending your time going out with your friends and maybe even other guys when you're ready. Doing anything that will occupy your mind will keep you from thinking about him as much. After awhile, he'll be the furthest thing from your mind.

it is 2 my understanding that if a police is speeding in traffic they have to have their lights on.. where i live many police officers speed almost 25-30 miles over the speed limit without any lights or sirens yet they will write tickets to people who are speeding 6 or 7 miles over the limit (my mom got one for speed 6 miles over the limit and they wouldnt show her the radar when she asked!!) i personally dont have a liking for these (or any officers) and i am tryin 2 see if there is any way i can file a complaint... my question is when a police officer is speeding this fast thru traffic passing everyone up do they have to have their lights on and/or sirens...? i think i am correct but im not sure.. please help~

As far as I know, any emergency vehicle has to have the lights and/or sirens on in order to drive over the speed limit. I'm sure it's possible to file a complaint at the police department, but it might not do any good because it's your word against theirs. The most that would probably happen to these officers is the proverbial "slap on the wrist". If more than one person goes down to complain, I'm sure something more firm would be handed down. If you know of others who have experienced the same thing, encourage them to go complain with you.

well i hate to admit it but I have lyed to my friends alot but there little lyes like what i did at night and stuff like that i feel really bad doing it but i dont know how to stop! I really really want to be a good friend but how do i tell them without them hating me? Please help

If you didn't lie about anything major, such as about things you have, where you live, what kind of car you drive, vacations you've been on, your family.. stuff like that, you don't really have to tell your friends that you lied to them. Just start each day by telling yourself that you will not tell anymore lies to your friends. They're eventually going to figure out that you've lied to them, so it's better to just stop doing it before it gets out of hand.

This is kind of stupid, but what I always wrote in yearbooks was "Have a good winter". Everyone always puts something to the effect of "have a great summer", and it was my way to get away from doing what everyone else did and have my signing be memorable.

so my best friend in the entire world likes this big jerk. he's a nice guy sometimes but then he can be a total loser. so when shes mad at him he'll be nice to her and she'll automatically like him again. its so annoying because how can someonebe so mean to you and then you keep liking them? how can i tell her this is happening without actually saying that and hurting her feelings...? This kind of thing happens all the time, unfortunatly. Girls tend to fall for guys that treat them like crap... It's happened to me, so I can relate. Just the fact that the guy makes himself unavailable is what makes him so attractive to her. There's not much you can do. Your friend needs to realize that this guy's a jerk on her own. Nothing you say or do can remove him from his pedastal, in her mind. As long as things don't go towards the abusive side, it'd be better just not to say anything.

I agree with the person before me... Neon pink signs definatly draw your attention to the sign. The colors that they use for schools are ususally very toned down and the pink would offer a huge contrast to that. I think that neon orange or blue would do well for the same reason. Black font is usually the best way to go because other colors tend to get lost in the bright background.

They had a semiformal at my junior high too.. some people went with dates and others just went with groups of friends. Even if you don't get asked, just go with a group of your friends and have a good time. This is the last one of the year, probably, and it's a good way to end the year on a positive note. I'm a junior in high school right now, and if there's one thing I've learned it's that if you sit at home, you KNOW you're going to have a lame time. At least if you go to the dance you'll be around your friends and there's at least a chance of having a good time. Go and enjoy yourself... even if the dance does blow... make your own fun by making fun of it.

Honstely, there is no "one age" that is appropriate for all girls. It's different for each girl and depends on the maturity leval of the one in question. I would say that when the girl starts being self-consious about leg and armpit hair.. that's when she should be allowed to start shaving.

Im currently talking to this girl who happens to be my friends ex. We dated for about a week and broke up because things were kinda complicated. She was scared of me losing all my friends. She went out with my friend for 9 months and they broke up 3 months ago cuz he cheated on her. I talked to him about it and he gave me the okay, and told me it would be akward. But im affriad of all my friends talking shit behind my back. Every time i talk to this girl i like her more and more, what should i do, is this right?

You should sit down with your friend and ask him if he would have a problem with you dating his ex. If he does have a problem with it, you have to decide if it's worth it to risk a friendship to possibly have a relationship with this girl. Don't tell her anything until you talk to your friend... it's not right to make your friend feel ackward about it, but it's not right to leave her hanging either. Let her know that you'll talk with your friend and then get back to her. If she really does like you, she'll understand that you don't want to lose a friend.

There's nothing really wrong with looking at porn as long as it's not becoming an addiction for you. Everyone looks at it from time to time just out of curiosity, and I mean EVERYONE. Anyone who claims to never have seen it before is either your great-great-great-great grandma or a liar. I wouldn't reccomend telling your parents about this because they will probably be upset with you for looking at it and probably won't let you go on your trip. Just concider this one of those adolecent learning experiences that everyone goes through... no big deal.

I am a Canadian female who is seeking advice on a difficult problem. My bf and I have a semi-long distance relationship and he is closer to me now because he is home for the summer. Next year he will be back at his college far away and his landlord won't allow visitors and he doesn't have much money to come see me, so I want to spend as much time in the summer with him as possible while keeping him seeing his family in mind. I wanted him to come and stay at my residence for two weeks and my mom even offered to pick him up and pay for his ride back home, but his parents said no. His parents are very strict and he got into a fight with them that same day. He is an adult and I have tried to get him to stick up for himself and told him that if he really wanted to see me he would accept the ride slam the door and do it, but he keeps giving me excuses. Now I am wondering if he really doesn't want to see me but he stresses that he does, but he can't stick up for himself. What should I do? How can I get him to stick up for himself or convince him to come see me? Whenever I try to bring it up he gets upset and wants to change the subject.

I think your boyfriend's probably feeling trapped between you and his parents. Since he's in college, there's a good chance that his parents are probably paying for a good chunk of his education and he doesn't want to lose that, which is understandable. Maybe you could have your parents talk to his parents and explain the situation of him staying at your place over his vacation. Maybe you could compromise and suggest a shorter time span, say a weekend or something? Or would it be possible for you to travel to see him so that his parents would feel more comfortable about it? Parental issues or not, your boyfriend needs to make some time for you while he's at home over break because it's hard to do it at other times of the year.

prom is on may 13th - i know less then 2 weeks! i still don't have a date & i really want to have one! i am not great friends with many guys, so i don't really even have much of a choice on who i can ask. i have one friend (we don't like hang out or anything, but we talk in school) who i considered asking but then i realized (& a friend agreed with me) that he most likely doesn't want to go to the prom at all. she used to joke with him (before she knew i wanted to go with him) about prom 7 he would always say he wasn't going & he doesn't want to go. however, he's basically the only one i can even really think of as a possibility, so should i ask him anyways? i also don't know when to get him alone to ask him if i do (i don't want to do it infront of people, but i want to do it in person). what should i say to make him see i want to go with him. also i don't think he's likes to dance, so would it be stupid to ask him? i want to dance, but he probably would say no to going & to dancing. what would you do?!?!!? If you know the guy doesn't like to go to dances and doesn't like to dance in the first place, you're probably wasting your time asking him. If he does say yes, he probably won't dance at all. Honestly, I think you would have a better time at prom if you went with a big group of friends, rather than with a single date. It should be about having fun and getting to spend one evening with your high school friends rather than stressing over having a date. Just go to the dance and enjoy yourself.

My boyfriend and I go to different schools. Before we started going out, we started talking about 2 months ago. Before either of us had feeling for each other, he told me he was going to prom with a girl from his school but they are 'just friends'. So last night, was his prom with that girl. I was wondering, was it wrong for him to take her when i'm his girlfriend? I know they are just friends but people have told me that he was being a jerk by taking her instead of me. Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with him taking his friend to prom because they had made plans in advance to go together. People might think that not taking his girlfriend makes him a jerk, but how would the other girl feel if she didn't have a date because he ditched her at the last minute? If it's not a big deal to you, it shouldn't be a big deal to anyone else either.

Payless sells the look-alike Crocs clogs for about fourteen dollars. They, like the Crocs have several colors of them. I know they have these for sure at some of the larger Payless stores, but some of the smallers ones might not have them.

wow, i definitely made a mistake, and i was at a house where people were drinking. i only sipped a few thing but i didn't even like it so i didn't drink and i didn't get drunk. i should have called my parents and had them pick me up, and i didn't so now they don't trust me at all. this is gonna spread around school quickly and i don't know if i can deal w/ what kind of stuff people could say. i really want to earn my parents trust back but i know that is gonna take a LONG TIME! i wish i could take everything back. what should i do? You're right in thinking that it'll take a long time to earn your parents' trust again because it will. All you can do to make them trust you again is to not do anything that's disobedient. People at school probably won't judge you as harshly as your parents will because a lot of kids drink on the weekends these days. I'm not saying that it's a good thing, but they probably won't say anything about it to you. I would advise you to take your own advice the next time you're around people who are drinking and don't want to be a part of it. Just call your parents and ask them to come pick you up. If you're honest about the situation upfront, they won't be mad at you.

I need to make my parents understand that some kids will drink and some kids will smoke once in a while. [[those some kids arent me, but they are my friends]] My parents are trying to keep me away from my best friend because I got caught with alchohal when I was with him.

There's probably nothing you can do to change your parents' mind in the immediate future. They don't want you to get mixed up with the "wrong crowd" and think they're keeping you "safe" my not allowing you to talk to your friend. I realize that drinking or smoking every once in awhile isn't enough to condemn a person, parents see things differently when it comes to their own children.
If you think you have reasonable parents, or if you think you're really good at convincing them of things.. maybe you could talk them into letting your friend hang out with you at your house. That way you would still get to hang out with your best friend, and they could be certian that nothing "bad" is going to happen.

Ok so the inside of my nose, the right side, has like a scab. This morning I was goin out and it was hurtin so I jus pulled out the scab and now it's hurtin more and a scab a gettin back on it. It hurts alot and I relly duno what to do...does anyone know what it is? and can I pull it out? (link)

Stop pulling out the scab and it'll heal faster. I know it's uncomfortable to have the scab on the inside of your nose, but if you pull it off, you're just causing more damage than was there in the first place.

There's nothing wrong with your crush not getting a boner from dancing with you, and it has nothing to do with you doing a bad job or anything like that. Some guys get excited by things like dirty dancing and others don't.

Ok so here's the deal....I went out with this guy Teddy and he is 19 i am 17... Don't answer Teddy's phone calls or emails. Just try to ignore him and he'll eventually get the idea that his childish actions aren't going to get him anywhere with you. If you do end up having to talk to him for whatever reason, let him know why you won't be going back to him and let him know that if he continues to harass you that you'll involve the police. That's what I reccomend if he continues this... because you and your boyfriend need your privacy.

It's not wrong of you at all to have feelings for a guy who practices a different religion than yourself. And unless I'm horribly mistaken, and if so PLEASE correct me... Wiccans don't necessarily worship Satan. I think you should do some research on his religion before you start asking questions about your feelings for him romanticly. Do some reading and see if there is anything about his religion that you find offensive or threatning to your own beliefs.. if not, then you've answered your own question.
