Def. not a wierd question. Like everybody else has said there is no "age" I started when I was 11. Most girls start shaving when they get in 6th or 7th grade.

There is no right age, just like there is no right age for your period to start or anything else like this. I started in 6th grade but one of my friends has really light blond hair and never has before.

I don`t think there is a certain age to start shaving your legs.. Whenever the girl feels they are hairy i think shaving them would be a good idea.. some girls don`t think their legs are are ever hairy or the hair is too light to tell that you haven`t shaved.. ♥Dez

in my case it depended on my parents since they wouldnt let me shave i didnt but one day i just deciced like 'fuck them' so i shaved them anyways but if you dont shave your legs in like a couple of days the hair starts growing back relly tjick and cactus like its very pricly so if you do decide to shave make sure you do it often

Honstely, there is no "one age" that is appropriate for all girls. It's different for each girl and depends on the maturity leval of the one in question. I would say that when the girl starts being self-consious about leg and armpit hair.. that's when she should be allowed to start shaving.

I would say around 12 because that's around when middle school starts and puberty and whatnot. But if your legs aren't usually showing, it's not really necessary right away.

Its not a weird question... if you are curious about it then it is totally okay! I started shaving my legs right before i went into Jr. High, so I was like barely 12 years old. But anytime is okay. It just depends when you are ready. I shave my legs, because I just feel uncomfortable when they aren't shaved. But if the hair on your legs isn't too bad yet, then maybe you could wait... it just depends on when you are ready to. It is your own personal choice.

hey. haha its not that weird of a question. girls start shaving their legs around 11-13. if you want to start it out, just remember that the hair grows back thicker and darker. you could ask a parent to take you to the store to pick up some razors and shaving cream. hope this helps!! :) ♥ ♥ ♥

There is truely no set age. Whenever the female starts to develop hair on her legs and feels comfortable enough to shave, thats when she should begin. It's not a mandatory thing, but a preference
