I'm a little late on the whole Ipod extravanganza..
haha i actually didn't want one in the beginning but now after a year i finally want one the thing is im wondering if i should buy a video one right now.
because i want to but im scared that as sooooon as i buy it BAM there will be a whole new better ipod on sale..
The great thing about iPods is the warranty. You can get a 1 year one for relatively cheap, and if anything goes wrong you trade it in for a new one. Past the warranty you can still get great value on a trade in, anyway.
Oddly enough, the online store only sells video iPods now. I wouldn't buy them direct from the website though. Find the nearest Apple Store or Comp USA if you're going to buy one, they should still have the 'older' models.
LouellaWalters26 answered Monday May 8 2006, 8:42 pm: Well, my brother has one. They are very nice. But, I have a cheaper MP3 player that works just as well, (except you can't download as many songs). I know they have more features too. Your other advice was right, they will come up with something newer & better in no time. The day I bought this computer, it became obsolete. LOL. So, I would say if you don't really NEED it right now or just want to have something for music, go ahead and either just buy a little MP3 player for now or just wait a little while to see if they are coming out with anything else. Hope I helped! [ LouellaWalters26's advice column | Ask LouellaWalters26 A Question ]
HCOloverr22 answered Monday May 8 2006, 8:12 pm: well, it sort of depends on the amount of money you have. if youre loaded (you lucky bia!), you should buy something like a video ipod. seriously, there cant be anything better than that. and if there is, who cares? there will always be something newer and better out sooner or later, so dont hesitate or you'll miss out! good luck!
