Ok..soo i went out with my good guy friend the other day. We went to get some subway and we were just talking about relationships n stuff. He asked me if i had been kissed and my response was no. I have been kissed..but not a full on makeout session. Im 17/F. I dont really trust him that he wont tell neone. Im pretty sure he will go to his guys friends and tell them. Im so embarassed. I feel like im the only girl in world that hasnt been. Is something wrong with me?

Nothing is wrong with you. It just means that the right guy has not come into your life yet. And if he talks to his friends about that, is he really a friend? I do not think so. I would confront him first though, and see if his friends laugh when you go near them or something. If you see differences in behavoir, then he probably squeeled.

1) As for your family, it is normal for a teenager.Just like you , I used to be a prep, but I thought it was abnoxious, and now I am the happiest i guess you could say "emo" kid ever :). No one can change who you are and/or what you want to be. It is your choice, the ball is in your court. You have to think about the future. In the future, something may happen and you will need your family's support to help you through, because they are the ones that really love you the most. Your mom is just unhappy because she thinks that you are putting your life down the tubes by being with the friends you are with, and how you dress. She only wants the best for you.
2. As for getting them to leave you alone, there is not much you can do. As I said before, they are always going to butt-into your life, but someday you will need them. The just want to help.

3. Relating to what I said before (sorry for repeating myself =x), they do not want your friends to influence you. They think that "oh, I saw them, they dress really scary", then they think that is why you dress the way you do. Explain to them not to be judgemental, because you can not judge a book by its' cover.

4. Next time you see him, just be like "Did you see the advertisement for the.. _________ movie? Or something like that. And if he says yes :
yes- we should go see it! (smile). he will be like - like a date?! and you say- i guess that is what it is called :)
if he says no, he hasnt heard of the movie or whatever- oh! it is supposed to be reallly good! I wanted to see it with someone I like (thats a hint :)). Then just act normal.

okay so i just got my belly button pierced and i was wondering if when i went swimming like in a lake would it get infected like by the water or would it be fine and all I'd have to do is clean it after or can i not go swimming until it heals compleetly???

I would not swim with it-like the people below me said. There are so many things in lakes and ponds, it is unsanitary especially for a new piercing. I would go to the parlor, and if they say it is ok, then i would put something over it - like a bandaid. It will keep it as safe as possible. If you do go, then make sure afterwards you clean the piercing.

i think something is wrong with my parakeet!
hes been acting weird lately
hes about 5 years old
i let him out and he tries to fly but he falls to the ground hes never done that before
hes always been a good flyer
his feathers have been all fluffy for a day now without going normal.
i came home from school and he was at the bottom of his cage sitting there. and he never does that
he hates it down there. my previous parakeet died before i got this one and the symptoms are sort of the same, the whole flying thing and the sitting at the bottom of the cage thing. i really dont want him to die. does anyone know what could be wrong or what i could do to help him???

No one can diagnose- I am sorry! The best thing that you can do is bring him to the vet. It is the best thing for you, and your parakeet!

* on the chart, it differs 5 lbs ...so you can be 5 over or 5 under and be normal. Explain to your parents that you are not anorexic. Prove it to them by eating like you normally do, and not throwing up like you dont. Explain to them how stupid anorexia is, and how you never would even think about it. You may just have a faster metabolism

Not sure where this goes... well I don't neccessarily have night mares per say, I just think about stuff that could happen to me during the night. I think about getting murdered and I actually imagine it to happen as I try to sleep. As creepy as this sounds, it freaks me out when I am lying in my bed. Nothing bad has happened in my town so I shouldn't have anything to worry about but theres always that possibility that something would happen. If you could give me some good tips or pointers on what to do when I think about dying and how I am going to die and what not, they would be greatly appreciated. Sometimes I don't get much sleep because I'm lying awake thinking about this stuff. Help me please... I don't know what else to do.

This happens to me too. It is usually because of the junk I watch on tv. When a thought like that comes to my mind, i just say the word "cancel" in a soft voice. It seriously works! After saying that, I automatically think of something else- like becoming famous, or getting high honors!

How do people do it?Whenever I hit the sack it ends up either flying in front on me or off to the side.I can't get it to just go straight up.

it takes a lot of practice- every day. You have to concentrate. I used to be just like that, never being able to get it perfect. I practiced a lot though! I started using a soccer ball, and worked my way up!

Recently I was watching ITV and there was this guy Kevin Trudeau talking about his new book called, "Weight Loss Cure What 'They' Don't Want You To Know." I was wondering if you guys know someone who has, or have tried what his book tells you to do? Supposedly theres this British doctor who has found the 'cure' to weight loss. You can lose a lb. a day and it has been tested for 40 years, no bad side effects. The guy who wrote the book (not the founder of the cure) tried it and it works. He lost 45 pounds in 6 weeks and lots of celebrities and members of royal families have used it. I just wanted to know if this is for real?

I doubt it. Don't believe what you hear. People would more easily become anorexic and things like that. People would also under go malnutrition because they would eat junk food instead of veggies.

i got really REALLY drunk on Saint Patricks Day and started making out with this guy once we got back to my house (another one of our friends came too)...he started fingering me and i gave him a HJ...
I dont really remeber much from the night...and i only vaguely remeber doing that; which is why i thought it was a dream...
I didnt tell anyone about it...but apperintly the other friend was sitting with us on the couch the whole time...

Anyway; the guy who i hooked up with told like 10 people.

so now like half my school knows; and i dont even REMEMBER it clearly happening.. and when i asked the guy what happened HE said he didnt remeber either

but a mutual friend of ours ask me if it was true and i told her i had no idea...

now it's really awkward around the guys cause they live on my street...and the guy i like is BEST FRIENDS with the guy i hooked up with...

I have no idea what to do...

just ignore it. people will stop talking about it eventually .as for the guy- i would not talk to him because he took advantage of you while intoxicated.

i already went out and got him a band dvd [bad religion] that im PRETTY sure he likes because on his myspace under music he has this band but i never really hear him talk about them or listen to them...so yeha i got him that band dvd of them playing like live performences of alot of their songs because i know that he loves band dvd's with live performences....and i also got him a t shirt from pac sun [element] and a billabong hat/beanie thing but it sorta has that visor in the front...he has a similar hat in that style but like different brand and color and stuff...for christmas i got him a sweatshirt from pac sun [volcom] and the pac sun cologne [kirra]

but im kinda worried that what i got him isnt good enough or he isnt gonna like it cause im not sure if he really really likes the band or not and i already got him the sweatshirt from pac sun for christmas and idk...if i bring everything back what are some good things i can get him?

ok. i'm 14/f. i have light strech marks on my back, very noticable ones on my stomach, and a few (like 6) on the front of my legs. is that bad?? i think, actually i'm pretty sure, that i'm overweight, but i just need to know if having that many strech marks is bad. thanks!

completely normal. the person below me is wrong though - the cocoa butter fades them , but does not get rid of them. Stretch marks NEVER go away.
