I'm 13/f, and so is my friend. we've known each other since we were 5..
she's lived across the street from me since the day we met, which is almost 9 years.. and her parents won't even let her sleep over my house.
now --
we're going to 3 different clubs next week. what lie should she tell her parents to let her go? she can't say "oh i'm sleeping over someone's house tonight! pick me up in the morning" because they don't let her sleep over ANY ONE'S house.
we expect to arrive at the clubs at 8:30 and leave around 11 and get home at 11:30 ..
we're going with her 16 year old cousin, who always sneaks out but never gets caught. so should my friend say she's sleeping over her cousin's house that night? give me ANYTHING you have because her parents give her the stupidest reasons for her not to go out. (link)

If I were you, do not tell them that she is sleeping over her cousin's house, because they will probab;y end up calling her house and checking up on her, if they are so overly protective. So don't even try that. Though good luck trying to find soemthing to say. I am not good at that kind of stuff. Sorry.

My first serious boyfriend broke up with me about 2 months ago. It was a blow to my heart and the big problem is, I can't move on. I still think about him everyday & get the urge to pour my heart out to him. I'm very involved in school, I have a job and many supportive friends, but nothing is helping. Try to get rid of everything that reminds you of him and any evidence you went out with him. DOn't ignore him in the halls and say hi if you bump into him. Don't become full on strangers, you want to keep everyone you meet through life close incase you need them later on. Good luck!

okay i think i need to see a counselor but i have no way to tell my mom..she has suggested it a couple of times but i never said yeah and so i think i seriously need to see one and i think i have depresssion. anyways i have thought a lot about suicide and i cant take any more problems in my life it's just all going down hill and school just sucks and my friends are kind of annoying me and i think they just bring more problems from me...well some...not a couple though. also i have this temptation just to start up drugs thinking it'll make me feel better...but something has always stopped me from the rugs and killing myself. also i really like being alone a lot and not hanging out with people. i only like hanging out with one of my friends other than that i cant even share my problems with my friends. another thing thats wrong with me is that i always tend to blame everything on myself and i cant help that...then if i blame one thing on me i just bust out crying cause i think about every other thing that i have done wrong in my life. so i guess i think i have no use in life bcause i cant do anything right in life and everybody seems to yell at me....and i hate it when people tell me i dont talk much in school...i dont feel like talking and then i get all upset...and i guess im just asking you all if it sounds like i suffering from anything and ways to tell my mom about a counselor. btw i have cut myself a couple of times but i dont like that so i just use a rubberband on my arm to take away the pain. and if it helps i am 15/female. thank you a bunch for any help on this (link)

Please, don't even consider suicide. It may not seem it, but the people all around you love you and care deeply about you. You may need some counseling but you'll get over the need to bring yourself pain. just...please don't. hope all works out.

what's the best? see i was thinking if i choose a school like UCLA (good repuation right?) but since everyone's so smart there i'd get so-so grades, or is it better to choose a so-so school where i'd get the best grades?? like lets say i want to becom a doctor, what would be best? do they look at your grades, or where you got your degree, or both? does anyone know?? They do look at your grades, so it would probably be better if you went to a so-so school and passed with flying colors. Plus you would probably make better friends there if there at the sam level as you are when you start off. So good luck getting into school and hope you get the one you want!

My friend,shes like very smart but she acts dumb on purpose,and shes kinda messy for a girl shes also kinda loud and obnoxious,alot of people find her very annoying after awhile.people started taking advantage of her and treating her like shes "slow" she wants to change and is trying,but how can she suceed if people dont give her the chance? in other words shes getting kinda of tired of people treating her like "crap" and wants people to know who she really is. I have a similar girl in my school that acts like this and I know how the others feel. SHe's really obnoxious and doesn't know how to keep a secret. I used to hang around with her, but she only got me in trouble. I was in the guidance office like every week. It's hard to trust a person once they've betrayed it. Multiple times. So din't take it personally. She may have done something to get those kids so annoyed before you were such good friends with her. Don't sweat it and good luck!

I kinda like this one dude (from a far away thing) I didn't really know him untill today when we were together. He kept messing with me and my other frined he would pretend to hit hit us and osmetimes really hit us. But him and and this other person got something going on like a passing note thing and She has a boyfriend so i know they don't have anything like that going on. But after I got to know him he's really fun In last preiod he would smile and make me feel better( Cause I didn't feel good.. at all -.-) But he's not the cutest thing in the world but he's really sweet and If we do end up some how dating my friends would pressure me.. It doesn't matter what your friends say. You would want to end up with someone your friends chose would you? You need to choose your own life and who you do/do not date. Make you own choices and so what if he isn't cute. as long has he's sweet and has a personality, he would probably be better than a kid who only cares about his looks. Good luck!

In the past month and a half, sometimes when my fiance eats pizza, his lips swell up to about 3 times their normal size a few hours afterwards. It starts in one corner on one lip and slowly travels all the way around until everything is completely swollen. He says that it feels kind of numb. We get Benadryl and he takes 2, but it doesn't seem to help at all. It's just his lips. He's never had any problems like this in the past and we're not getting pizza from new places or anything. I know he needs to see a doctor about it, that's not what I'm asking. I'm just really interested in how this could have happened. Does anybody have any ideas about what could be causing this? Are they putting some kind of new ingredient or spice in pizza now? Could he have developed an allergy to something at age 21? Has anything like this happened to anyone before? Thanks. (link)

It could be that he likes you too, but doesn't want it to show in school in front of his girlfriend. DOn't take it personally. Ignore for a few days and see how he reacts. Hope I helped.
