my best friends birthday is coming up, and i have not idea what to get her. the thing is, that i usually get my friends 20 dollars and vice versa. but she got me somereally nice, and it cost a lot of money. she got me a heart shaped picture frame with a picture of me and her in it, with my name ingraved, and the date and it was 80 dollars..
So far I'm giving her a Geauga lake ticket, and the next day shes going with me to geauga lake.
Any ideas that i can give her that are nice, yet not super expensive?
well, since she's your best friend, you know what she likes a lot more than us. but anyways, you could give her a picture frame with pix of you guys or other friends, take her to dinner, get her a gift certificate for the mall or her favorite store, maybe something that has to do with an inside joke you have, make her a bulletin board for her room [you can decorate it & put pictures & post it notes or designs], clothing, jewelry, etc.

Alright, I got a trojan virus yesteday.
It was called Trojan.Doppler, or something.
I got that deleted, but I dont know how to remove GetMirar, which got in around the same time. It's malware.
Norton's website was no help (Symantec) and Ad-Aware didn't do anything either.
Can someone who is tech-savvy tell me how to delete it?
It has no uninstall software that I know of, and it's just the occassional pop-up (I dont want to erase my hard drive for this, that's just stupid. It's not worth the effort; the pop-ups are annoying my parents)
My computer is running just fine otherwise.

i had a trojan horse & it ran fine [juss a bit slow]. my uncle said that if you don't get rid of it, it will get worse [hes good at comps]. we got Webroot Spy Sweeper for $30 online. yes you have to pay but it took it off immidately & it was deleted for good. i'd suggest getting that. if you really don't want to pay, search for another program. yes, it is $30 but that's a lot better than having to pay for a new computer once it gets going.

I race BMX and this weekend I fell and hurt my wrist pretty badly. It looked like a broke my arm so I went to the hospital and they x-rayed my forearm and said everything was fine. The next day my wrist started swelling up and it hurts to even touch it the lighest bit but I can move it. Does anyone know what I could have done to my wrist?
it could be basically anything. if it didn't show up on the xray, it could be bruised or a bad sprain. i twisted my ankle playing basketball a few months ago & its still swollen & bruised. you should let it heal for awhile before riding BMX again or at least get some type of brace. if it doesn't get better in a few days/weeks, i'd suggest going back.

Ok my friend (who is a guy, and I am a girl) just broke up with his girlfriend, who is another friend of mine. And ever since the break up My guy friend and me have been spending a lot of time together...while the his ex is moving on with other guys(if you know what i mean) I think he is using me as a way of not to deal with the pain. I feel so bad for him because I can see how much he is hurting and everytime I bring her up he changes the subject. I don't want to push...but i want to help him get over it. How can i do that? If you look at him you can tell he is in pain...just he trys to cover it up. I don't want him to know that I know he is in pain. So what should I do? Any help would be amzing!
i think you should try talking to him about it. juss randomly i guess. you're right-- he should move on. maybe hang out with him at different places where he can meet new people. if he's truly hurt when you talk to him about it, drop it & start a new conversation. maybe the less he thinks about her, the better he will feel. if he meets new girls & becomes friends with them, there's a good chance he'll start liking them or would want to get to know them better.

My best friends told me about a month or two ago they were both bi. About two weeks ago, they started "going out" I was cool with them being Bi before, we just went along being friends. But now that they're going out its totally ackward, gross, and I just can't stand being around them. Me and them have really drifted apart since the summer started cause they got into it with guys who are big into sex and weed. Is it time for me to get new friends? How do I go about doing that, I don't want to look like a loner.
it really is up to you. they are your friends so it shouldn't be a big deal that they're bi with each other. if you don't like the crowd they hang with, maybe hang out with others more & only hang out with them once in awhile. its really up to you. juss start talking to newer people. once you start school [or if you did already] you can meet people in your classes or join a club/sport.

will there be instances in which Crest Whitestrips don't work? i need all the help i can get. i am asking again because my teeth are really bothering me.
My teeth are yellow. i dont drink tea or soda. i used to not brush for quite a long time. i have been brushing regularly for half an year. what can i do to get whiter teeth asap? i will continue with the brushing routine but my teeth are so ugly i cant smile and people think im weird!!!
yes, im pretty sure Crest Whitestrips won't always work. there are probably some situations they wont. to start, you should brush them twice a day [every day] & floss every day probably once [or you can floss every other]. i would suggest going to your dentist. ask them any products they can give you to help. also, if you get a cleaning treatment, which you do anyway at most appointments, it will help. so basically juss ask your dentist what you can do. they have a lot of stuff they can give you. if you can't go to the dentist, try going to CVS or another local drugstore & asking someone about other options.

What are some good ways to straighten my hair? I use a Conair Cermaic straightner now and when I'm done, some of it is still frizzy. Any good creams or anything you would reccomend?
blah, my hair is so curly. what i do use when i get out've the shower, i use frizzies by john frieda. its a serum type thing. Conair [in my opinion] has really bad hair straightners. i use Revlon. it was actually not that expensive & it's ceramic. if you're using a straightner, you definately want it to be ceramic. mines also thin & what not. to actually straighten it, work in small strands from the bottom of your hair [underneath & what not] & work your way up.

I take Zyrtec-D. Have been for maybe year and a half. I hate my allergies and still don't feel too good non-allergy-wise on medication. Is Zyrtec-D bad for 16-year-olds?
i read a website on Zyrtec-D & it said that children under 12 should not take this medicine. since you're 16, i'm not sure how it would be "bad" for 16 year olds. next time you go to the doctor [or if you're experiencing weird symptoms] ask them about it. i would ask a doctor anyway, because you want to make sure you're taking it correctly & what not. here's a website-

believe it or not-- most people feel this way coming into HS their freshman year. i got lucky in this situation, because we only have 1 highschool in my town so i knew basically everyone already. usually, no one picks on you. you're in school anyway. but if that comes up, don't let it get to you. if they pick on you because you're a freshman, well you aren't the only freshman, so basically it'll be everyone in your grade. juss be friendly. don't give them anything to pick on you about, ya know?? if you're nice, they most likely wont.

This is going to sound crazy, but I get so grossed out when I'm on my period. I can't take looking at all the blood. It makes me gag and stuff. What should I do?
hmm..this is a bit complicated because you're going to get your period a lot. maybe try talking to your mom/friend about it?? if you're really grossed out a lot, you should go to the gyno. he/she could help you get through that because that's their job. you don't have to look at it. when you use the bathroom, juss go as quick as possible.

i wouldn't really say there's an average weight for teens. everyones a bit different. you can google a height/weight chart & figure out what you're suppose to be. you need your height & your body frame [large, medium, small]. your bone structure can definately affect your weight. the best time to weigh yourself is in the morning. when you get up, use the bathroom & then weigh yourself. why?? because there's nothing in you. when you eat, that can change your weight a bit. also, make sure your clothes aren't too heavy.

how do you make a myspace layout yourself? because i already know how to make xanga layouts. on xanga there is just a code that you can edit is microsoft word or something like that, is there the same thing for myspace? i know you can go to sites that you just have to fill in the background color and pictures and stuff and it will make the code for you, but i was just wondering if there is a basic code for it that you can edit like you can with xanga?

you can make myspace layouts basically the same way you make xanga layouts. go to a myspace layout site [you can google this] & find a style you like. copy the code they give you & paste it into notepad. don't save it though. if you save it, when you go into your myspace account to paste it, it gets messed up. in notepad, fix it however you want by adding different colors & images. if you can make xanga layouts, you probably can make myspace layouts.

you can by them at a local drug store. some states might not let you buy them [depending where you live]. you can ask a relative or i'd suggest asking a friend to help you. if you don't get to buy a condom, i'd highly suggest not going through with it.

I had my period on august 1,2006 and usually it lasts for a week. well it was the last day for my period and i had intercourse without no protection so am i pregnant?
no one can say yes or no. if you have sex [especially without protection] you have a huge chance of getting pregnant. you should get a pregnancy test. you can get these at a local drug store or you can go to the gyno.
