whether you or your boyfreind have cold sores you should neither kiss nor have any sexual contact with the sores untill they are completely gone. cold sores are a type of oral herpes and they are very contagious.

canker sores aren't contagious, but they're usually found in the mouth?? so im not quite sure what you mean. but yes, they definately aren't contagious.
