Long story short, I'm from Los Angeles, went to an amazing school, left the US and moved to the Middle East. I've been backpacking around Europe and the Middle East on and off since August 2013.

When I go over my grandma's house or any other family member's house I always act negative for some reason! I can't figure it out! I'm 13/f and around my mom, dad, sister, and friends I am a normal happy girl! When I'm at my family's house I'm constanly being told "Oh, stop being so negative" or "You really do like the h-word (hate) a lot" I just can't help myself and It hurts to be considered the negative one in the family! Is it because I'm usually so bored? The closest cousin I have to my age is a 17 year old boy!

Yeah, you are probably negative becuase you have nothing else to do. I usually bring things to do at family get-togethers, so I can honestly say I'm having fun. The closest cousin to me is a 21 year old guy and a 10 year old girl...almost equally far away...just talk to your 17 year old cousin, maybe he's cooler than you think.

omg this is really frustrating me and if anyone can answer this i would love you forever. ok well my aim wasnt workin and it was screwin up when it was so i downloaded the new edition (triton) and i downloaded the whole program and it told me i needed to restart so i did.. and now it wont work at all! i clicked on it and it wont pop up or anything.. I have 2 friends that I'm trying to convince to stop messing around with Marijuana before something really bad happens. Both of them happen to be singers in bands/choir/shows. Does smoking pot affect your vocal chords or ability to sing? I know regular tobacco messes it up, but does pot have the same effects? A yes or no answer is fine but I would really like some sort of backround information b/c I couldn't find any when I searched it online. Thanks!

YES, smoking anything will do terrible, irreversible things to your voicebox and vocal chords, drastically affecting their singing. Please show them this answer if they don't believe you. Have you ever heard a "smoker's voice" or "smoker's cough"?? They are terrible, and ca make it impossible to sing. Smoke in general can also affect your lungs so that it is hard to take slow deep breaths, which are crucial for singing.

Last night my mom and him threw a party and my sister and I had to be there. When everyone was leaving around 3am, my mom had gone outside to say bye to everyone while my step dad, sister, and I stayed inside.

My sister and I were talking to each other about these guys we had met that night (my mom's friend’s sons). He was listening to our conversation and said, out of no where, "I don't know what boys would be interested in you two." He always says this stuff so I just told him to shut up and mind is own conversations (I know, disrespectful but it's hard to respect him).

We got into a little argument and he then told us how immature, bratty, spoiled, we are and how we think we're princesses. Jokingly, my sister told him that we were princesses, in our dad's eyes anyways. I guess that got him mad because then he went off talking about my dad and how he's the problem because he gives us what we want. He then said that if we didn't believe everything he was saying about us that we should ask our mom and grandparents on what they think about us.

After all of that, he told us about all this stuff that my dad did while he was still married to my mom like how he once slept with a hooker and how he was always at work and never home. Alot of unnecessary things that we didn't need to know and probably shouldn't have known, specially my sister.

I knew that my parents had troubles and things like that, why else would they have gotten a divorce? But who is he to tell us exactly what happened and what my dad did. I mean does he seriously think that we would turn against our dad or end up hating him or something? Or is he just jealous of him?

Like I said, I know my dad did some things (now I know exactly what) but so did my mom. But we still love him and he's great to us and is a good parent too.

After he went to sleep I went into my sister's room to get something from her and she had cried herself to sleep. When I saw that, I went to talk to my mom about what had happened because I usually just blow it off. When I told her, she didn't believe me about the names he called us and how he told us that she and my grandparents thought the same! And all she did about the part about my dad was say, "Well, at least you know the truth about your father now." She just talked about how we never once tried to be nice to him and he was trying his best. She didn't even care about the stuff he said about us or my dad.

We were nice to him before when him and my mom first started dating but he was still mean to us back then so we started being mean back. he always used to talk about my dad too.

I don't know what to do because it seems like no matter what she's always on his side. Plus he has no right talking about my mom and dad's relationship.

Asshole is an understatement. There are some people who are just rude. The only thing I can think of is to move out ASAP, and then get your sister out of that house. If he ever were to be abusive, your mom wouldn't listen to you, so it's important to get your sister out at the same time yo leave, and get her into your dad's house assuming it is safe. Tape your dad when he says these things, and you could even bring up charges for verbal and child abuse. No, they are two completely differnt programs, however there are some programs that merge all 3 major IM software systems (MSN, YIM, AIM) into one, with one screen name, password, sign on, and away message, but these aren't always virus-proof.

Does anyone know any colleges that look for great dancers? Dancing along the lines of either tap or hip hop?

Most colleges have a performing arts department, so it depends where you want to go. Many of these schools require an audition. Schools famous for their cheerleaders will want good dancers, FYI. I am aware that this will not get an award for brevity, but humor me.

Background info: I am someone who is known to have an incredibly individual, crazy, random style. I love uniqueness, and I hate wearing things that I know what 1 million other people are wearing. This goes for anything of the sort, whether it's a studded belt or a short little Hollister skirt- BUT this question is mostly geared towards the latter (to clarify, the clothing that the so-called "pretty people" wear).

I'm really trying to comprehend how people can like clothing like what is sold at Hollister or those type of stores. I guess it's almost humorous since I know the majority of people ask the same question about my outfits a good deal of the time- what could she possibly be thinking with that outfit? But I just don't understand...and I'm honestly trying to be as accepting of others expressions as I wish they would be of my own.

What joy do you get out of wearing these mass manufactured clothes that aren't even worth taking two looks at? They are so BORING and unoriginal and so..lacking in any creativity. Not to mention, those skirts practically show butt cheeks and things I DO NOT WANT TO SEE! EW! Between the false advertising (Feefee's stupid ass coconut shack, etc.) and the atrocious amount of skin shown, I can only wonder what America's "pretty people" are thinking and if they really are so "pretty."

I don't think of it like that. I feel that you can have your own individual style and just get your stuff anywhere. I have a shirt from hollister. Big deal. I have AE pants. So what? Do you get what I mean? The skirts aren't that short, by the way :). I don't feel like I answered this question, I just kinda gave my opinion on it, so sorry if I didn't help, but I think I might have given you a different viewpoint. Only soup cans need a label!!

That's cool that you're from Iran. You'd want the wheels in the back to make it go faster, otherwise your car would flip over and stop moving. The other answer to this question has more detail :).
