When I go over my grandma's house or any other family member's house I always act negative for some reason! I can't figure it out! I'm 13/f and around my mom, dad, sister, and friends I am a normal happy girl! When I'm at my family's house I'm constanly being told "Oh, stop being so negative" or "You really do like the h-word (hate) a lot" I just can't help myself and It hurts to be considered the negative one in the family! Is it because I'm usually so bored? The closest cousin I have to my age is a 17 year old boy!
strictlyrouge answered Monday January 2 2006, 8:32 pm: the simple answer is that you're a 13 year old girl, and thats what 13 year old girls do. I did it, my cousins did it, my friends did it, everyone does it. For some reason, we just get snippy around people... You can try to lighten up a bit, just smile more or something... boredom could also be doing it, maybe you should find some more interesting things to do while you're out at relatives houses.
