Hey everyone!My name is Brina,I've been on this site for a few years, after not being on for a while, I figured I'd start up again, having more knowledge then before! I'm 19 years old and am going to be a sophomore in college this coming fall! Please feel free to ask me anything!

I’m female, 15, and I hate everything about my family, I’ve always been rejected and pushed aside and neglected, my brother is the center of everyone’s life because he is such an asshole, my parents give him whatever he wants because they can’t stand to hear him rage and scream and say everything bad and hateful he could possibly say. I think they give him such free rein because he has turrets or however the hell you spell it and they just blame his bad behavior on it. They have always been too focused on trying to help my lying, trouble making, hates-the-world, asshole of a brother, so I can never feel anything- they can’t deal with me being sick, or sad, or angry, because they can’t help me, they’ve stopped trying because as soon as their attention would switch over my brother would do something and start screaming and saying shit about me, and how much he hated me and my parents and that everyone else does everything wrong, not him. My parents won’t get him help, they now take their anger at him out on me, they yell and scream at me when I tell them what I think of my brother and how I think they’re doing stuff wrong with him and how he needs help, my dad always punishes him at the wrong time when he’s actually calm, he can never say anything right to my brother, and then they ask me to go give him food or ask him stuff and my brother takes shit out on me. I hate everything about my family, I’m tired of being pushed around and neglected, and they’re making me into a person I hate, what can I do that doesn’t involve anything that costs money? because I’m not that rich. Plz help me, I’m honestly ready to kill myself.

First off Do not kill yourself. You have to talk to your parents about this. If you dont being home a lot join a sport or activity that you have to stay after school for. Try getting your parents to go get help for you brother. Good Luck.

Hey, theres this girl in my pe class and I think she might like me. Well, I kinda like her too though. She acts kinda like it and gives me hugs sometimes and stuff and jokes around with me and stuff, and she seems like she always brings the topic of Homecomming up to her friend, lets call her Jenny. Anyways so she always says to Jenny that sits next to her when we sit on numbers for role call that she needs a date for Homecomming. But... I'm kinda scared to ask her to Homecomming because I don't know what to do.. I mean I know you go out to dinner and stuff and the guy drives the girl... but I don't have a car yet do I have my dad or mom drive us to the restaurant and then to the dance? I know to get her flowers or a corsage... ugh I don't know what to do! Someone tell me what to do about this and what should I get her and pretty much walk me thru the date! I mean like I could go with my friends or her friends because she says to her friend that all her friends are going to this fancy restauraunt with their dates and she wont get to go unless she has a date... so who drives and stuff? What do I do.... Help, I'm 14/m.

Well you should deffinitly ask her because it seems to me that shes sending you signals. If you dont want your parents to drive you then you two could meet at the restaurant and then have like an older cousin or if you have a brother or sister. Getting her floweres would be really nice, nothing extremely fancy though just like some carnations or roses. Try and find out her favorite color flowers! At my school we didnt have to get our dates corsages but i saw a couple of people get flowers for there dates.
Just relax if she likes you and you like her then dont be nervous because theres nothing to be nervous about!

Tell him that you were talking to a friend of yours and how shes really immature and say why but your really talking about him and thne maybe he will stop being immature because he knows that you didnt like it when your friend did that.

Hey!! i luv your site.. all the advice u give seems soo helpful so thats why im asking you.
Im 14 and I*ve been going out with my current boyfrends for about 7months now (not includen a break up) but before i met him i was with this one kid who is a year younger than me. Hez name is Tim. He is soo sweet but he can somtimes act immature. But i broke up with him for my boyfrend now.. Josh. Josh is soo nice n protective n i luv him so much. He is vvery shy though he is afraid to kiss me. n when i try 2 kiss him he hurrys up n turns away!! I hate it!!soo i started talken to Tim again and he still likes me he tells me how beautiful i am n how he luvs me n im the only person for him. This was like a couple of weeks ago.. Then Me n him n a friend went to the movies and Tim kissed me. I feel real horrible about cheatin on josh but i also felt like i was getten back at him for ignorin me like he does. at the same time im starten to love Tim just as much. Josh is soo borring but i still love him!! Soo i was wonderen wat i should do.. Break up with my boyfrend and go out with Tim or dont? or Break up with my boyfrend and dont go out with any1 for a while!! Thankz.. Im soo Confused!!

Thanks for the compliment that i give good advice! I think that you should wait it out a little to decide because you could make a huge mistake and brake up with josh and then realize that you still like him. I would go with whoever you have a better conection with. Tim will probably stop being immature after a little bit and if he still is immature talk to him. I dont know about the cheating thing, you might want to tell Josh but at the same time that could jeperize your relationship.

Anyone have any suggestions on playing wind instruments comfortably with braces?

I play the baritone sax and thats very hard instrument to play. The first day i got my braces on i broke one on my instrument because i hit it on the mouth piece.But ne ways when i played it didnt bother my teeth at all if it does bother your teeth just put wax on your teeth!

Well here is the situation me and my girlfriend need new things to do....like I want her to be just super impressed by me and I try hard all the time but I do the same things over and over again and again so can anyone tell me what girls really like to do like honestly what can I do to make her super happy she is like happy but I want her to be the happiest girl ever so anyone give me good ideas on what to do on like dates and stuff........we are 17 and 15 and we live by lake superior so that should help someone give me ideas and like walks and stuff like that we do that and stuff so help me with more in depth ideas thanks alot everyone for your great advice it means a lot.....good times....later

Well personaly i love lazer tag. I think that would be fun to go to lazer tag with a guy. Also you two should go on a picnic, set up a few candles and a blanket right on the edge of the lake.

okay im about 125 lbs n i dont think im a fatty or anything but how can i lose wieght quickly and tone my body?

i'm somewhat flat chested, but i have great legs. how can i take all the notice off my chest (or lack thereof) and refocus it on my legs without being thought of as a skank?

Maybe if you start wearing bright colored pants/skirts and darker colored shirts so that they see the brightness of the bottom part of your outfit!

Try takeing a deep breath and think about what you say before you say it. If that doesnt work always say sorry. It shouldnt be hard not to say mean stuff to your best friend.

Hi,
I am doing a play with a kiss scene. And the person that I happen to be kissing is my guy friend. So its really akward. I really try to make it non-akward after but somehow it just is. And I was going to do the "theatre illusion" of kissing someone but the drama teach says it looks to obvious (putting your thumbs over the person's mouth and kissing your thumbs). Is there any other way to make it illusion? so its not all akward. We already kissed for once and for real. Boy, I was mad. All my friends are like aw, you should go out with him. I mean for heaven's sake! It was a staged kiss!
Any adice?

I've been with my boyfriend for 4 years on and off, and we've been steady for 2 years and 5 months..december 1st we'll be celebrating our 2 and 1/2 years...I love him more then anything..I was just wondering if anyone has any special ideas that I can do for our 2 and 1/2 year..I'm already taking him out to dinner to applebees which is are alltime favorite place to go, we go there every chance we get for a special occasion, or just to go..but I want to do something more..romantic..I'm only 18 so nothing too dramatic..but you know..something which will make him say "wow I really love her"

ok there's this boy a whole grade younger than me but i like him. and we talk online and sometimes we get into fights but we always end up forgiving eachother by the end of the night lol. but one time i went up to him in school (he was with his friends) and i asked him a question and he said "hey dork (even though im head cheerleader) do i know you?" i was so hurt that i left and everybody started laughing! then later that night he IMed me and said sorry and i said "2 bad u made me feel like crap so apology not accepted" and i blocked him.. was i right 2 do that? or should i give him one more chance?

ok, i love this guy "John", but we currently arent together. but yet i still love him. and a freind of mine is trying to get me back together with one of my ex's "David". i mean, i like David, and would love to date him again, but i would feel ba cuz i cant give him my whole heart like i did last time, cuz i am in love with John. so i dont know what to do, me and David are still really close and are soooo alike, and i guess his friend picked up on it, and i dont know what to do, cuz, if i wait around for john, and thigns dont work, i could miss out on David, and vice versa. so someone please help me!!!!

I think in my opinion you should go with David because you two have a lot in common and have a better connection so that means that you two would be great together

i was staying after school waiting to be picked up and the 1 guy that ive liked ALOT with me. (he kinda had feelings for me but he is so hooked on his gf) well my dad called my cell and said my Aunt DIED, and he'd pick me up in an hour. so i started crying histerically, and Tom just came over and comforted me and i layed there in his ARMS crying. he literally wiped my tears and layed with me the whole time. Once i stopped crying he leaned over and kissed me. and then... we started making out for minutes straight, it was the most amazing/beautiful thing EVER. eventually i had to leave, & later Tom called & said how perfect that was & never had anything special like that. well he asked me what to do about his gf cause theyve been together for a year & he doesnt know if he should TELL her or NOT. hes really confused. so what should he do about his gf do you think he should tell? i dont want her to be mad at me and have all her friends threaten me and stuff. please help i dont know what to do about the whole situation, this is too much... (DONT TELL ME ITS WRONG WHAT WE DID CAUSE no shit I KNOW THAT ALREADY!!!)

Well if he does decide to break up with his GF then he shouldnt say why or if he did it should not have your name involved because if he doesnt say your name then everything will be okey dokey.
