Words of advice on love:

Does anyone know that if a cellphone that fell in the bathtub can be repaired? Or is it gone for good?

It could be. Depends on how long it was in there.

Take the phone apart and lay it out to dry for about 3-5 days. Put it back together and it just may work.

I dropped my phone in the toilet (IT FELL OUT OF MY BACK POCKET!!) I laid it out to dry for a few days and I put it back together and it worked perfectly fine.

Yes you can still be pregnant even if you get your period. Some women still get sort of a "period" while they are pregnant. My friend had suspisions that she was pregnant, then she got her period and thought all was well. She took a test to be sure and the test came out positive. She went to the doctors to make sure it wasn't a false positive, but she was in fact pregnant. She ended up losing the baby a few days later.. But that's a horse of another color.


Anyway, YES you can still possibly be pregnant. However you did protect yourself so your chances aren't as high. Most likely you are not pregnant. Wait it out until next month's period and if you don't get it.. You might want to get a test.


But if I were you, I wouldn't worry too much. You're fine.

Hehe hi everybody, i may be the only guy in this column.

I am wondering... my girlfriend likes it when im neat and tidy... downstairs, but its a major hassle and really quite dangerous if you ask me. Would this Nair shit, the mousse or whatever be able to help me out or would it burn uncontrollably? i mean for everywhere, not just above the waistline.

Your best bet is to keep shaving it. Yeah it's a major hassle but would you rather have a burning rash or one little cut? And truely, you get used to shaving there. It will become more comfortable for you the more you do it and it will be less of a hassle and less dangerous. Just do it slowly and do NOT USE A BRAND NEW RAZOR!!! Use one that you've used a few other times because a brand new razor will cut you up insanely and you'll have little bloody dots all over. Not cute.

Best things to use are all curl amplifying products: Mousse, gel, hair spray, shampoo/conditioner etc. All of them used together may work for you. But since you have very straight hair it may not even straighten. So, another option is to get a perm however it may be damaging to your hair. Or, you can always go to your hair stylist and ask her what she thinks the best products would be for you. They're the best people to ask. =]

Yes, sperm does die. However, there are millions and millions of sperm in one "load" so to speak and very very few of them die.

Pregnancy can occur no matter what. No matter how protected you are it can still happen. Using a condom AND birth control still isn't 100% guarenteed that you will not get pregnant. Sure, it's like a 99.9999% chance you won't, but there's that 0.0001% chance you can. And believe me, it can happen. So, to be on the safe side when truely the only way to avoid pregnancy is abstinence. (Which I don't believe in.. Heh.) So, if you aren't going to be abstinent then wrap it up before you tap it up!!!

If you use and Conair or Hot Tools products they are all good. As long as it has ceramic plates you should do okay. Depending on the actual straightener and brand they can range from 15- 75 dollars. You can go to walmart or to a store that sells just hair products.

i want to try to lose about 5 pounds by halloween maybe? i'm like 5'3 or something and around 110 lbs maybe more, maybe less? anyway, today so far i've had regular cheerios with 1% milk(for breakfast around 10:30 ish?) (but i didn't drink the milk, i dont like it), and for lunch(around 12:15) i had a piece of turkey, chesse, and lettuce on whole wheat bread, and a few blue corn tortilla chips. what else should i eat to keep my metabolism up?

You don't need to lose weight. If you lose weight you come close to falling in the underweight category.

I'm 5'4" and 115 pounds. I'm skinny as all hell. You don't need to lose any weight. You're fine.

If you want to tone up that's a different story, do crunches and sit ups and such and find workouts to tone your legs. No need to lose 5 pounds.

Rules in my school:

Tank tops are allowed as long as your bra straps aren't showing

Shorts must be 5 inches above the knee

Skirts must be 5 inches above the knee

No excessively ripped jeans

No spiked collars, wrist bands etc

No tshirts suggesting drug usage, nudity, alcohol, etc.

Backless shoes are allowed

Cleavage must not be showing

Shirts must meet pant line when arms are raised

As for PDA they don't really care too much about that. As long as you're not having sex in the middle of the hallway, they don't care.


However, some of these rules are sort of just brushed off because teachers in my school don't give a damn about anything that the students do. Basically as long as you don't look like a hooker you won't get in trouble.

Age has never been an issue in dating in my opinion. Unless of course he is over 7 years older than you. My ex boyfriend is 22 and I'm 17. So that's 5 years.

If you two are sexually active, it most definately can be a problem. He is a legal adult and you are a minor still. In the majority of states you need to be 16 for the age of concent (age where you can legally "decide" if you want to have sex). Any time under the age of 16 they say that you are too young to decide if you wanted to have sex or not. If you two are having sex, he could be arrested for endangering the welfare of a minor and for statutory rape.

I just advise you to be careful in what you do, anything that goes on between you two try to keep it between just you two because he can get in alot of trouble.

If you really like him and he really likes you and he's not in it just for sex or anything, then stay with him. I don't have a problem with it. Age aint nothin but a number. So long as you're happy that's all that truely matters.
