ok well me and my boyfriend had sex but i have my period now so im pretty sure im not pregnant and it was protected sex..but i was just wondeirng people tlel me different stories but can you be pregnant even if u get your period?
blwinteler answered Thursday September 28 2006, 11:20 pm: Yes, some women do bleed, like a period, when they are pregnant. Some have bleeding monthly, but it is very rare. Many will have spotting, or light bleeding, the first month after getting pregnant. I did. My doctor told me that it is something that happens when the embryo attaches to the uterus.
However, if you had protected sex and this is actually a period, not just light spotting, I wouldn't worry too much. If you don't get your next period, get a pregnancy test for good measure. They are even sold at dollar stores, and those do work. [ blwinteler's advice column | Ask blwinteler A Question ]

Everyone's heard different stories and many women have bleeding during pregnancy which isn't actually a 'period'. Take a look at this site: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
It'll give you some more info.
Hope I could help you!

My friend had suspisions that she was pregnant, then she got her period and thought all was well. She took a test to be sure and the test came out positive. She went to the doctors to make sure it wasn't a false positive, but she was in fact pregnant. She ended up losing the baby a few days later.. But that's a horse of another color.
Anyway, YES you can still possibly be pregnant. However you did protect yourself so your chances aren't as high. Most likely you are not pregnant. Wait it out until next month's period and if you don't get it.. You might want to get a test.
