ok well i had my peroid and i thought it was over bc well it stopped fer a while and i already ruined my FAV shorts but my mom cleaned them and they are faded now and i was wearing a thong and those shorts and it came bacK!!!!! what should i do.. n is it normal to have it stop fer like hours?? and ya??

Yes, that's very normal. It might of stopped because you might of been in a settled position for a while. Instead of changing out of your pad/tampon right when you see there is no blood, wait AT LEAST another day to be sure it is completely over.

ok i make xanga layouts and ive been making them for over a year and i was wondering. where do layout sites get those thin diagonal striped backgrounds? do they get them off a search engine, each other or make them themselves?

You make them off of Microsoft Paint, or Photoshop.

You make a 10 pixel box and zoom in 9x.
Then choose the color that you want as the stripe and take the "pencil" tool and make a diagonal line front either the bottom lefthand corner to the top righthand corner or vice versa.
Then you unzoom 9x and save the file and then in xanga you just say repeat in all directions when you put it as your background, and it should have diagonal lines.

ehh. It's a trend. Electrikk is a bunch of kids who think it's cool to wear pearls and use neon colors that burn your eyes when you see them. "Scene"- Used in a sentence "You're so scene." Definition? You're so cool, rad, etc. etc.

This is my second time posting here on Advicenators. Well, I could really use some good advice here. I am 14 years old, never been kissed, hugged, dated..etc. I like older boys better because I know they tend to make the first moves and spoil you more, but I never thought I would end up like my best friends older brother. He's just two years older, not even. He's cute and he's funny, but he's really shallow. He's making me want to just die with the harsh things he says. He's always telling my friend Marissa* you should hang out with hot friends because all your friends are ugly. Right when I am sitting there. Now I can't stop hating myself.

Hi i got a letter in the mail (yeah mail lol) and its from People to People International. Its says im invite to travel and study in England Wales and Ireland (many places i would love to go). Well i called the place and they said i could Better Business Beau ( i guess thats haow its spelled) and they said the trip will cost around 2,600-5,200 depending if i do fundraisers or qualify for scholarships. Now heres my questions
1. Has anyone done this or anything else from the place/ company i guess you call it
2. is that a good price considering im in florida.?

Hi, I'm the one who wrote about my boyfriend who so rudely dumped me without as much as even TELLING me, and then saying that I didn't have feelings and desserved my heart broken as much as people wanted too. Now I am a generally nice person, but this got me so upset. :( Well now hes going out with this other girl, and they keep iming me to tell me what a "loser" I am and how I can't "get" any boys. I know you don't want to listen to me whine but really, I have noone to talk to. My boyfriend just dumped me in the rudest way. He made up this horrible excuse that his parents were mad at him and he wasn't allowed to have a girlfriend. He never even told me he was breaking up. Okay I have had my period for like a year now, or whateva. So like last month and this month, it didn't stay on as long as usual. well the first few years you have your period it's extremely irregular. When you're pregnant you don't have your period all together. This is completely normal, don't worry!

My friend has been seeing her boyfriend for just over a month now. For two weeks they didn't even hold hands, they were so shy, but all of a sudden they kissed in the cinema and suddenly they are 'so in love' and on the same day as they kissed, they went to third base.

Last week, they had sex (in the WOODS!) and my friend is pretty sure she is pregnant. However, she is sayign she is 'bored' of her boyfriend and wants to 'move on'. I'm sorry but this is so stupid!! You don't sleep with someone you're 'bored' of and never really liked in the first place!!

She also wants an abortion.

First of all, I am angry at her for the whole 'oh I'm bored with you let's shag!' thing. I am also REALLY angry with her about the abortion because I am really against abortion in about 90% of cases, this one included. She wants to kill her own baby because she thinks she'll get 'bored' with it too, and because she made a mistake. She is 'making up' for that mistake with murder.

Now, I'm her friend and I am SUPPOSED to stand by her whatever, but this puts me in a HUGE dilemma because I do not agree with what she's done and what she is planning to do (split up with her boyfriend, have an abortion, not ever tell him she got pregnant). I'm really really angry at her right now and I can't talk to her, but I know she really needs my support at a time like this. How can I push my anger aside, how can I ignore my own stance on abortion and help her?

I need to stand by her...she needs all the love and support she can get, even though she doesn't deserve it. I was very tempted to slap her and run off when I found out but I realised that it's not my place to forgive or condone or accept or hate what she is doing, just to be there for her.

Please help...how can I get over my anger and resentment at what she is doing and be there for her? And don't just say 'talk to her' - if you have to, help me out on what to say!

Try and not think about yourself in this situation. Think about what she is going through and how hard it might be for her too. I still think maybe you should tell her your opinion too, because as a friend she should listen. If you're willing to push all your thoughts and needs aside for her the least she could do is listen? What's the harm in telling her you don't agree with the abortion. Maybe suggest adoption, I still don't agree with adoption, but atleast the baby would find a loving and caring home. You said it isn't your place to accept or forgive what she is doing, but it is your place as a friend to suggest.

As for talking to her about this. Like you said, just be there for her. Ask her how she's doing periodically. Ask if there's anything you can do. There's not much YOU can do right about now because it looks like she's confident in her decision, has made her mind up and is happy with it. All you can do as a friend is support her with everything she does. Sometimes it might go against your morals, but if suggesting didn't work then there's not much you can do but support.

Good luck and you seem like such an amazing friend by trying to push all your needs aside just for your friend.
