Yeah, it's normal for it to stop for a couple of hours. Just remember to always wear a pad/tampon, because things like that happen. Man, I'm sorry about those shortts, though. Once when I was in the 6th grade, I was having my period and it went away for a day and then it came back and it was all over the seat of my favorite blue jeans and everyone was laughing at me...

Informant_Girl answered Monday August 15 2005, 9:38 am:
Was it towards the end of your cycle? Sometimes, towards the end, it appears to stop, but shortly after, you'll have some bleeding. The best way to avoid this is to count how many days your average period is - say, 5 days. On the 5th day, even if there appears to be no bleeding whatsoever, use a pad for lighter days (they sell thinner ones just for this purpose). Sometimes, there's still some uterine lining that hasn't cleared out and may dislodge due to physical activity. It's perfectly normal. You should only worry when your period continues for days and days afterward and the bleeding is heavy or discolored.

hello. its totally normal. it can stop for days or even hours at a time. but when you see no blood dont just take out your pad or tampon. just simply change it. cause it may comeback in an hour. if there is no blood for a day or two then take it out. hope i have helped. please rate

therocketsummer answered Monday August 15 2005, 7:45 am:
Yes, that's very normal. It might of stopped because you might of been in a settled position for a while. Instead of changing out of your pad/tampon right when you see there is no blood, wait AT LEAST another day to be sure it is completely over.
