Is there a way to turn off the computer without logging off of AIM? I tried hibernate & standby. Hibernate saves the desktop as is but it makes AIM sign off. And on standby, the computer blinks over and over again. Is there anything else I can try? (link)

You can always just turn off the monitor! That won't log you off of AIM.

Well i new my bff for 9 years now, and i was moved away in a different state for seven of them (but we kept in touch, i visited constintly) but now we are losing a bff style, like whenever i call she has to go, or if she doesnt she'll proply hang up on me in a few minutes anyway. i cant trust her because she always lies to me and brakes promises and tells secrets.i am really starting to dislike her, but never the less i have known her and was her bff for 9 years now, and she used to be so kind and sweet to me (its only been a year where she was rude to me) i miss her being the way she was. please help me! Aww, I am sorry to hear that. Talk to her about how you feel and tell her that you don't like her making up excuses, lieing to you, and telling your secrets. She isn't a friend if she does all that to you!

Okay that was a little confusing to read (you didn't need to put that your girlfriend just broke up with you in january)lol. But anyways, tell her that you still like her, and ask if she still likes you. See if she likes you first, then ask her out! Hope I have helped.

That's bad. You should really tell him before someone else does. Sure, he will be mad at you, but he will be even more mad finding it out from someone else. Tell him you are really sorry and you made a mistake. Hopefully, he will forgive you. Good luck!

You should never put a guy before a friend. Yeah sure you like the attention he gives you, but will he always be there for you? Chances are he won't. But, your friends most likely will. If you are drifting apart from your friends now and you stop liking that guy, who will you have then?

H3Y even though this question is long please don't pass it over I need help.
Im almost fourteen and my nine seventeen year old brother died about a week ago. I don't want to talk about it and my parents are trying to force me into it. I don't want to talk sometimes, I just want to forget. But theres something inside me that wont let me and thats when I get either angry or sad, but I never find myself in tears. I havn't cried since I found out he was dead. Those were tears of shock. If you were in the middle of an algerbra test and got pulled out just to be told your big brother was hit by a car you would probably cry too. I can't take this anymore. Sometimes I just want to turn him into some distant memory, and other times I want to remember him. People tell me to remember all the good times we had, but that just makes me even more sad to know that we won't ever have those times again. My parents arn't helping either. They're wanting to have another baby. They want to replace him. Plus they have allready started turning his old room into a study for my dad. MY twenty year old sister does nothing but cry and therefore gets all the sympathy. I dont ever cry so people think I dont care, but I probably care more than anybody. I know even though he's dead but not gone it still doesn't help me. I find myself always asking "What if." I can't stand "What ifs" But the one question that I have always promised I'd never ask myself is "Why me" Then I realized I shouldn't be asking why me. I wasnt the one that died. So now I am despising my sister for her constant mourning, because she's not crying for Bryson, she's crying for herself. All I need to know is that if I force myself into crying if it will make the pain go away. And if it won't how can I stop hating the world around me. Because now I'm starting to hate myself. I'm afraid to love or trust anybody again and I can't do it alone. (link)

Aww, I am soo sorry to hear that. You sound real mad over the fact that he died. Why would your sister be crying for herself, he brother just died. Yeah, what you parents are doing about the baby and the study is a little wrong and they are rushing things, but they are just as upset as you are. I think you should cry. Crying will let out all your emotions that are bottled up. If you don't let it out, one day you will just snap and then have like a breakdown. Don't hate yourself, it is not your fault that he died. Just remember him, don't forget. You will start to accept the fact sooner or later and you won't be all as upset. I am sorry, that is the best advice I can give you!

If you know for a fact that he doesn't like you, don't take the chance and ask him out. He will most likely turn you down. Flirt with him and talk with him more often. Hopefully, he will start liking you! Good luck.

You could've pressed shuffle songs. Or, it might need new batteries. If worse comes to worse, bring it back. They have a gaurantee.

... there's a man who's hittin' on me. I'm 20 he's 13 yrs my senior, married but no kids. I don't like him at all, but it seems that he CANNOT stop thinkin' 'bout/of me. I've been dealin' with this since Valentines, and i've ignored him (it been exam period so I don't see him as often in the halls), told him i wasn't interested and that he should stick to his wife. But Now that exams are over, He's back to haunt me. I'm not sure wat to do. can someone help me. its finally raining here after not raining in about 2 weeks and now that its raining..its heavy raining!
