If you don't put your name or url/e-mail in when you leave someone on a message, can they figure out it's you? By the way, I don't have one.

They won't be able to get your address, or a specfic thing on who you are. [ bombberries's advice column | Ask bombberries A Question ]
Karen answered Saturday April 23 2005, 3:03 pm: If you want to get technical, then yes, the person can still figure out who you are because your IP still shows up when you enter your name or even type something. All chatterboxes have that option so the person can figure out who you are somehow. There is a site where you can type in an IP and see where it's located and such. Only the person who "owns" or puts it on their site will know but everyone else won't. When someone leaves a comment on my chatterbox on my Xanga, I can see their IP if I go to the site where I got my chatterbox from.
But no person would go through that so they basically don't know who you are if you leave your name anonymous and if you don't leave a URL/email address. [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
