Im buying a shirt for a friend of mine who is 6`1 and quite thin. Im not sure what size shirts he wears and I dont want to ask him because I want it to be a surprise. Do you think a large or meduim would work best? Looking at both length and width. I dont want him with baggly clothes but I dont want it too short either.

Go to hug him and look at the tag in his shirt. :) Haha. It always works for me.

basically this guy moved here a couple years ago and ive liked him ever since then. he lives right across the street from me so we became brother and sister type friends. he's had a lot of girlfriends here so we never went out, but he has liked me before. so now he's in an 8 month relationship with another girl and im happy for them. now heres the hard for me part, they've gone to 3rd within 3 months...and now they're talking about having sex within a few weeks. he talks to me about this (he doesnt know that i like him still because i dont want to create drama), but if he actually goes through with it i dont think i could ever look at him the same. we're all 15 by the way. i don't know... i've been thinking about it so much and im really upset. please help

Try to convince him that their relationship is moving too fast and that he should maybe wait a while before going all the way with this girl, I mean, he's only 15. If you're brave enough, tell him how you feel and that if he goes through with it, you won't feel the same. I hope this helps.

I have wavey shoulder length hair and for awhile now I've been using hair gel to keep my waves tight and frizz free. It's worked well for awhile but my hair is untouchable and crunchy. Does anyone have any other suggestions on types of products to use for my hair? I would like to maintain my tight waves and frizz free hair as best as possible. Thanks to all who answer.

I have the same hair. I use TX Curl Booster and GOT2B Curling Spray. You can find it at Wal-Mart or Target for about $2.00 each. For me, those sprays work best. :)

I'd like to be an advice columnist at my high school, even though this will be my first year i have been advice columnist before and i got good review before, but who do i need to talk to to start a Secretive advice column? and how do i convince them to let me be an advice columnist? and also, what should i bring (kinda like props) to show (whoever i am showing) that i get good review from answering question previously...

please help. i rate 5 even if you only help a little but no making fun or anything like that, then i report.

Talk to a teacher or staff member who runs your newspaper or website or whatever and ask if they would be willing to let you have an advice coloumn. Tell them you could be a large help to the students in your school and that you could relate to them more than an adult would, maybe. As for props..I have no clue. Sorry!

Hey. I am going out with my best friend. Before we were going out, he was so sweet and loving and everything. Now that we are going out, he doesn't act like that anymore. First he was really bad, he basically ignored me. (It wasn't because he was embarrassed)Now he has gotten better but still hasn't gone back to normal. I know he is trying, but how long is too long? (Its been 5 months!)

I think you should talk to him and find out whats bothering him. Maybe he just likes being friends better and felt less pressure before you starting going out. If nothing changes, just go back to being good friends.

They're just jealous because they can't get a hott momma like you! Lol. Just talk to them and tell them that their jealousy is not a turn on for you, but more like a turn OFF. You're with who you want to be with. If they like you so much, they wouldn't want to hurt the guy you like. Tell them you want a guy who likes them for your personality and not by your looks - and thats what your boyfriends does.

Ok, I apoligize in advance if this is really long.

But, i have this friend. We've been really close since elementary school. I really enjoy spending time with her. But when the topic about money comes up, it just makes me ache inside. I don't show it. Okay, so my family doesn't have the kind of money like her family does. Most of the time she just shoves it in my face, i don't really know if she does it on purpose or it just comes naturally.. but it's really starting to make me extremley upset. For example, we're supposed to hang out, and then shes going shopping. I sort of had the option to go with her, but i don't have any money to buy anything. And truth be told, i don't want to watch her shop, that makes it worse. I just want her to realize that theres more things to do than shop & spend money. She has everything i've always wanted. I don't know how to explain this to her, nor i don't even know what to say to her. Any advice on what i should say? Or what i should do?

Talk to your friend and explain to her that talking about money around you makes you feel uncomfortable. If she's a true friend, she'll respect your wishes. Try doing something inexpensive that you both enjoy. And, if she's truely a nice friend, she'll treat you to something, not out of pitty, but out of friendship.

You see.. i got back on weight watchers this week because my school's starting soon (too soon) and i want to slim down so I'm not the biggest girl in my class anymore. What are some fast pace exercises i can do (websites) or what are some tips. The weight watchers is working, slowly, but i want to speed up the process.

Try doing cardio: Jogging, swimming, running, or jump roping 30 minutes a day, 3-5 times a week. Cardio works your whole body and not just one specific area. You should see some positive results rather quickley.

Apparently, the guy still likes you if he wants to continue hanging out with you. Just talk to him and see if in the near future, he can see himself with you again.

ok my mom is WICKED over protective. tonite i wanted to go to this little concert thats going on at 6:30 about 20 minutes away. I asked her if i could go with my older cousin and shes like "well you didnt even tell me what time or where.." and i told her where and shes like "NO WAY" and it seems like she's totally against the people that live there ( even though they arent bad) and plus I was meeting up with some of my friends there. How can i get her to let me go to SOMETHING?? oh yeah..I'm 14

My mom is the same way. Before I go, I tell her all that's going to happen. It also helps if you have a cell phone. You can call your mom every hour or so and tell her where you're going next or if your plans have changed. Just remind her that you're not going to be alone, you'll have all your friends there, too.

These last few times I've had my period I've been really PMSy. Like all constantly have cravings for chocolate, something sweet, or something salty. This has been throwin me off my diet. *Im skinny but I wanna remain healthy and fit* .. What should I do when PMS strikes again?

PMS has nothing to do with cravings. PMS deals more with bloating and attitude. A candy bar won't hurt you, but 5 or 6 will. You can satisfy your cravings, but don't go overboard and eat a whole bag of M&M's!

Most teens lose their virginity at the age of about 17, but some lose their virginity even earlier than that, which to me, is disgusting. You can't possibly be ready to have sex at the age of 13 or 14. You just can't. I, personally, am waiting till marriage. Knowing when, and where you're going to have sex all depends on your schedule and life. To find out, just talk to him/her. If you and your partner you feel like you are mature and ready enough to be sexually active, go for it.

hey, umm, yeah...i haven't really been sleeping the past 2 weeks...and now, i'm starting to get headaches-like frequently...

this has never happened before, and like i just wanted to know if this is semi-normal or if something's wrong w/ me.

also, i'm postitive that its not like PMS or anything having to do with my period...it just started randomly happening...and plus, i've had it for like almost 4 years now...s0o0o, yeah...help?!

Not sleeping is causing the frequent headaches. Talk to a doctor and get his oppion. But its most likely due to the lack of sleep. Try taking a Tylenol PM, which helps with the headaches and puts you to sleep.

Hey all. I would love to start a new club...maybe even two because my middle school doesn't have a lot of clubs and the clubs that are available aren't really good. I would like to start National Junior Honor society and/ or Dance Company where we travel to places sometimes to perform or watch broadways, take dance lessons and stuff like that. I was thinking that the money from the fundraisers we organize in the National Junior Honor Society will go to the fee of the trips (transportaions, hotel, etc.). Does anybody know how long it will take to get these clubs developed, and how can I spead the word to get people to join? Thanks!

Starting a club may take a good few months, maybe even a year. But you first have to get permission from a teacher. Try posting signs that will catch someone's eye and get some of your friends to help pass out flyers to everyone. I hope I helped.

Dillards has some dresses that are cute and at a reasonable price. Urbanoutfitters is more for an outdoor wedding, or David's Bridal. Sorry, that's all I know.

It's never worked for me, but you're hair has to be damp. You're supposed to just sqeeeze some lemons over your head and sit out in the sun for about 30 minutes. - Since it didn't work for me, I just went to Wal-Mart and found this product that did the same thing except you didn't have to stand out in the hot sun! I'm sorry I couldn't remember the product, but try the lemons!
